They mentioned once they like to repeat actors who agree with their mindset and work culture and give their 💯 for their project.

Kriti Sanon is arguably one of the best actresses in India. I remember watching her for the very first time in a Veet commercial, and she instantly stole my heart—she's gorgeous with a killer smile. Even though she transitioned from modelling to acting, she has grown into a remarkably talented and bankable actress, steadily improving her craft over the years. Even in her early work, she impressed in films like 1: Nenokkadine and Heropanti.

Maddock's support for her isn't rooted in bias or connections—it's because they're a production house that prioritises quality over quick cash grabs, and Kriti has proven to be a lucky charm for them. Although their first collaboration, Raabta, underperformed at the box office, six of their subsequent projects together have been successes. The only exception is Hum Do Hamare Do, which wasn't a strong product to begin with. The other five—Luka Chuppi, Bhediya, Mimi, TBMAUJ and Bareilly Ki Barfi—were all commercially successful, and Kriti earned particular praise for her performances in Mimi and Bareilly Ki Barfi.

May be Bollywood - yes. Bollywood’s top (stars) actresses won’t even come close if we consider all actors from whole India.

It's okay to praise her continuous bettering of her craft and if Dinesh likes her why not casting her? At least it is a pleasure to watch her (and I don't think that she plays a "bad" girl in Coctail 2).
