Part 5: New rays are coming.
The night was beautiful, sky shines with the stars'. The silence was disturbed by the crying of crickets. But their shrill voice has no longer irritating they were like the sound of this beautiful night. Phulwa was standing on the terrace, replaying the whole day incidents in her mind. The performance, Abhay holding her hands and telling the awaited words, her confession.. All seems to be a dream now. She blushed with the thought of Abhay. But now she feels to be a bit different. Shyness makes her silent most of the times in front of him. She wants to be look perfect in front of Abhay. She was trying to behave matured from that time. So that he could feel his choice was not wrong. She can be mature also. She knows the responsibilities, could fulfill them also. But in all that she feels she is losing her real self.
"Phulwa". A familiar voice of Abhay called her. She turned to look at him trying hard to pretend she is still the same girl a day before, but miserably failing.
Abhay could easily figure out each and every turmoil Phulwa faces. He know clearly how could she can feel now. He wanted her to love him but at the same time wanted her to be his old Phulwa who is bubbly talks endlessly for hours, will create mistakes and look at him for the solutions, rather than a love struck girl, shy; he wants her to be shy but not all time. He moved close to her forcing Phulwa step back. Abhay get irritated with her action. He holds her hand and pushed her to him. Phulwa looked at Abhay with a wide opened eyes, What he plans to do?
"Phulwa , for God sake be yourself" Abhay said in an annoyed tone.
" I am trying Abhay, but somewhere I cannot'. I feels like'. I don't know what to say about that, but now your presence make me different." Phulwa said looking into his eyes.
" Do you feels I am changed?, Phulwa I am the same , yes I said you I love you ,for a long time I was in. I know you also loved me for a long time. Also somewhere in our inner minds we two knows that we are in love, so what changed now, we just said it. The one thing we hide from each other is also now known to us. So that makes us close even more. Now we don't have to act to each other. You can be your true self, the same for me too. If you cannot be the same with me then to whom you can behave so? Abhay asked to phulwa holding her tightly on her shoulder.
Phulwa feels uplifted. Yes the person who stands before her is her own Abhay, with whom she was bought up who knows her more than she knows. Who stand along her in all her bad and good situations' Nothing is changed nor this man. In fact he wont change. He needs her as her with all the faults, foolishness, childishness. He may love her for all these' She smiled on her that thought and unconsciously caressing his head. Abhay leaned a bit to her to hit his forehead gently on her's. Phulwa looked up at him in mocking pain, while her hands slowly slipped to his left ear to pinch it gently ... He made his face like he get hurt, then both fall on a long laugh...
But the couple failed to notice two eyes watching them and two ears hearing them...

Lattu run fast to the family mates. He knows this is the time two families sit together and share the whole day. Men will talk abt the business while women abt the new trends or abt the new recipe they found today on a magazine and children will share their school experience.
"Ma" Lattu called Gunta with all his voice. He was too excited to share what he just saw and heard in the terrace. His Phulwa Jijiya and Abhay Bhaya are in love. He was very happy on that news, he was sure that every one here will be. He was excited in being the first person who share the news with the family.
Every one shocked in the sound of Lattu and stood up looking at him. "What happened" . " I just saw Phulwa jijiya and Abhay Bhaya over the terrace".
"So what Lattu beta, they used to be..." Gunta said with a non caring face. "They where telling that, they are in love". Lattu said in a single breath.. Then look at each one like "now what all say".
Every one looked straight into the eyes of Lattu, " Not this boy trying to fool us?". "Are you sure you heard them clearly?" Shakundhala grabbed lattu and asked. "Yes I am sure". All stood looking at each other, Prathap Rai Sing hugged his long back friend Mangru and said " Up to the date I hugged you as my best friend but now I am doing it as your Sambhandhi", Are yar we are now ladki wale hai pls respect us". All fall in boisterous laughter. " In fact all of us are both ladki wale or ladke wale." Said Dhadi ma. All shack their head in agree.

Abhay and Phulwa were walking to the hall, to join with their family. They heard the huge tumult in down stares, both looked each other, their usual meeting are calm except small small chatting, little laugh. Wha happened today... They walked fast to the hall.

All saw the coming of Phulwa and Abhay. Dadi ma blinked her eyes to every one as a notification for some mischief all understood her silent indication and sit in their own positions.
"What happened? Today every one is seems to be in huge joy?" Abhay asked.
"How could we cannot be, Prathap singh responses with another question. His eyes clearly showed a mischief in it.
"After all we fixed our daughter's marriage.." Mangru filled his friends incomplete answer.
The smile in the face of both Phulwa and Abhay vanished in a second. Shock is vivid in their look. "But... but she... isss.. just 21". Abhay said in a trembling voice.
"So what son, we are not planning to do the marriage now planning to do the engagement. In fact they are very good people, we cannot think of getting this much of a good relation in future. So we dont wanted to loss the chance." Gayatri said.
"Also, the kind of sas, sasur she will got in that house... they will be the best for my daughter". Imarti said placing her hands on the shoulder of Shakundhala and looking into her eyes.
"Then all forgot about the boy, who will get that much of a good husband in this world. For me the best thing our Phulwa got was him." Gunta said looking deep into the eyes of Abhay.
"Some body bring his Photo". Prathap singh said.
First we will show this to Phulwa," Gunta said while coming with a Photo in her hands.
Phulwa was standing still, she was not hearing anything, we fixed our daughter's marriage. This was the only sentence rounding in her ears. she wanted to hold some where felt like she is losing the power of her legs. Then Gunta kaki forcefully placed someone's Photo in her hands and asked her to look that. She dont wanted to look at any one else other than Abhay.
Abhay was standing impatient he wanted to snatch it from her hands and tore it away and said aloud that she is his. In fact he did snatch it from her but did not tore it away, just looked at it with a mixed feeling of surprise and shyness. It was his Photo.
Phulwa looked up at abhay to see his expression. On seeing his face she could smell something, to make it sure she take the photo frm his hands. The time she saw Abhay's face in it, she wanted to kiss her parents tightly in fact to every one in the house.
"Tho my son, she is just 21, so we dont wanted to think of her marriage now, right? Bhanua kaka asked Abhay teasingly.
"No now only engagement right kaka, so its fine... Abhhay replied sheepishly...
Abhay's answer plus his sheepish face pushed every one to a huge laugh...

So the big day of Abhay and Phulwa ended at a high note. Their relation is not just accepted by them but by all... their relation have the power of elder's blessing now... The next day sun will be the same but for them it will be different... it will going to bring the rays of eternal togetherness for them. Phulwa and Abhay went for a dream full sleep... In fact all in the two families...
