Its a typical dysfunctional family. The characters and situations are real. In fact, the over-zealous friends of the dadi reminded me of my aunts, always on a lookout to set me up.

I love the names the boss comes up with for Mahi - Manyata, Meera...

Haha I love the lift scene...she's so tiny standing at the back of the elevator, looking at his back and praying for the elevator to break down. She's so adorable. And omg he spoke to me hehe A+A+

Her coworkers and boss are jerks...but I LOVE Roshni....sorry woh fit nahi hui properly...she's such a sweet bewakoof hehe.

Mahi should learn to shut her bedroom door though...everybody keeps walking in to make comments hehe

My FAV characters (besides Mahi of course) have to be the whole family esp. the dadi and her friends! 🤣🤣🤣What a typical punjabi dadi types! Her "Ayyyyy ki hai? Jhabla jyaa! Anjali de vyah da tambu!!" 🤣Gotta LOVEE dadi's!!

And then the dadi and her friends wala scene!! Seriously LOVE dadi's one friend with the "new bifocals" 🤣🤣Her reaction, the "Hayyee kinna sona munda haina" And her maha hilarious dialogue "Mahi ko kitne araaam se utha liya usne...bilkul faiiitheer ke jaisse!" 🤣How ADORABLE was she!! AHHH I LOVEE dadi's!! :D :D

I loved how like every typical family, the family members irritate each other all the time. Like the annoying brother as you said, with his "OHOOO BTM!!!, Behenji turned MOD" 🤣LOL SO like my stupid sarcastic brother who I feel like giving chaped's every time he opens his mouth! 😆And the sister with her "Daudaaa pad gaya"! LOL

LOVEDD the breakfast table scene!! The khandani back and forth between the dadi-bua team and the mom! 😆It was such anatural and real scene.

OOO Did anyone notice how the mom calls Mahi's dad ALLOOO!! 🤣🤣👏

And Mahi's MEGA adorable yaar! LOVE her filmy-ness and her filmy dreams! First the chandni one and then the DDLJ one with Ishaan. 😆😆

And I love the cute little Mahi moments in between, like after she can't find anything to wear for the Thursday single mingle night thingy she goes, "Main marna chahti hoon, nahin pastries khanna chahti hoon, nahin patah nahin kya karna chahti hoon" 😆😆So adorable! And then she's like "bina kapdon ke challi jaati hoon" I mean it was just soo natural and relatable!! 👏

And then I thought it was cute how Roshni and Mahi escape the store when Mahi rips the dress and she's like "Ab main us store mein kabhi nahin ja paungi". lol SUCH natural moments were shown in this show, me likes very much. :)

And my next FAVV character has to be SID! What an amazing friend to have! I love it when he goes "Magar tunne agar yeh heels utari na toh main tujhse kabhi bhi baat ni karunga, I SWEAR" LOL and then she goes "MY GOD Drama queen" 😆😆One of the best moments in the episode had to be their interactions together!! I loved the car scene too. And how Sid keeps telling Mahi that she's beautiful and smart and confident. Awwww, their friendship is super cute! It hadall: teasing, bickering, talking, cheking out guys 😆and being there for each other moments.

And gotta love the patah nahin kaun manhoos/ golguppa chor guy!! What I loved most about their interactions was that Mahi was so free with him. Like how she herself says in her thoughts "Ek sawal ke do jawab, office mein main aisse kyun nahin hoon" I love how their interaction is so easy from the start. Maybe cuz she thinks of him as a chor chamaal types so she can be herself with him. 😆Like with Ishaan she just nihaarofys him and has DDLJ sapne but can't actually work up the courage to talk to him. So I really liked how the manhoos dude and Mahi are so comfortable with each other right off the bat. :)

SOO many aspects of Mahi's character were shown, it was so adorable and relatable to watch. Her love for golguppe ("Jab budi ho jayungi tab ayega agla gol guppa" 🤣🤣), her love for shoes, her ambition to write about serious issues and pursue a career in journalism, her filmy-ness and romantic dreams, her excitement over cute looking men ( I thought this aspect was shown in such a real and non OTT way, it really made Mahi even more endearing), her not being able to come up with the best come backs with people she's not comfortable with (i.e. the office 'kutti kaminis")...and so much more. lol She's such an adorable character, I'm excited for this show. :D

You've pegged her so well....and I also found it intriguing like you that she doesn't hold back when it comes to Mr. golgappa chor...lol....it's not really a rapport they share....but like you said....she's free with him....jo muh mein aata hai bol deti hai...LOLL....probably cuz she doesn't think much of him and is instead so bedazzled by Ahluwalia aur uske joote 😆 ....but the oddball sort of comfort level b/w Mahi and golgappa chor.....veryyyyyyyyy cute indeed! lol

LOL....and yes, I agree...the family scene was shown so naturally....felt like a scene out of real life only....I'm sure we all feel our families are crazy in one way or the other....lol

I also love the fact that Mahi is so relateable....there are so many things happening in her life that bring her down....yet she still never really lets that bog her down and continues to dream and strive for bigger things in life than most ppl expect of her....she's a total sweetheart!

Anjali - sister - cow.. 🤣 Pata nahi kaun - manhoos.. 🤣 My family and other animals.. Me hungry, still hungry, hungrier that ever.. This show is superbb!! A sure-shot winner!<br><br><br>Edit: I just remembered when they showed her mother winning the beauty contest thingy and then her sister and she getting the Miss Nobody title and then she goes.. "main tou sapnon main bhi contests haarti hoon.." 😆<br>

Seriously yaar! I had a certain amount of expectations going into the first epi and I was bracing myself for being a little disappointed...but this totally exceeded my expectations! Such an adorableeeeeeeeee beginning! And I truly hope it grows from strength to strength here on out!

LMAO her sister is indeed a total cow! LOL....and yeah I remembered that scene when she said 'main toh sapne mein bhi contest haar jaati hoon' too! Awww.....LOL....Mahi is just so cute...you feel like giving her a big hug!
