This show is a must watch..It managed to captivate me in the first episode..the dialogues were awesome..the acting was brilliant..the concept is great and refreshing too! It reminds me of Ugly Betty--the girl working in a fashion magazine, nerd..waiting for the love of her life..However, in Ugly Betty, the girl was a nerd..and here, Mahi is shown to be a obese girl waiting for the love of her life...Its really nice to see a show like this once again on Sony after Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin LOL <3

I agree with a lot of your points..the dysfunctional family..the way we can relate to it...the misfits..we all do feel weird and different than the rest of the world at some point in our live--thats what I love about this show already..You can relate to it in one way or the other...its shown in a reliastic view..and the fact that the girl still finds some courage to live her life after being called fat her whole life or hearing it indirectly...

Duudddddeee!!! I loved the show! It was so cute. Mahi is super adorable.. and like you said the way they started the show with the letter was shown so well and was quite real. Then the fight over bathroom and the breakfast scene with the saas-bahu-bua fight was so natural. Her neice is so cute.. and my god her sister.. seriously, a complete cow! 🤣 and yes, she's the same from the Whirlpool commercials..

Her friends are so sweet.. specially Sid. I loved the scene where the dress rips and they both run away.. Before that, she was praising her friend that she's so pretty when she makes Mahi try a dress.. and she goes "jitni pretty hai, utni hi dumb hai.. main is mein ghussoon ki kaisey?" 🤣 🤣 So natural.. and Sid, what a friend yaar.. I wish I had a friend like him, boosting her morale up always and dressing her up..

Then the gol gappa chor guy.. he was so sweet.. I loved their interactions like "I dont bite / but I do / main risk lene ko tayyaar hoon" 🤣 and the way she hides from Ishan with his help and asking him to take baby steps.. and then you go, I'll go! 🤣 Too good.. and I thought it was so cute the way she's total ga-ga over Ishan Singh Ahluwalia and running to meet him in the lift and then getting happy that "eee... he spoke to me" 😆 😆 and her filmy imaginations.. too cute.. and I love the way she rates the guys.. 0/10 to the gol gappa chor and 5/10 for the typical punjabi munda.. 🤣 and her 64 pairs of shoes.. 🤣 Seriously Mahi is adorable!

The end credits were hilarious.. Anjali - sister - cow.. 🤣 Pata nahi kaun - manhoos.. 🤣 My family and other animals.. Me hungry, still hungry, hungrier that ever.. This show is superbb!! A sure-shot winner!


Edit: I just remembered when they showed her mother winning the beauty contest thingy and then her sister and she getting the Miss Nobody title and then she goes.. "main tou sapnon main bhi contests haarti hoon.." 😆

Wooohoooo, I finally caught up with the Epi, and guess what, I LOVED it! ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT <33

There was some moments where I was like ROFLing🤣 and then there were some moments where I went like Awwwwww <333

Okay, to go into detailed commenting, I LOVED how they began the episode. The entire Misfit letters. Try as hard as she may, but inside, she does feel like a misfit. Like she doesn't belong here. There's a sense of insecurity within her.

Her dream sequence in the beginning! OMG! Don't even get me started on that🤣🤣 It was H.I.L.L.A.R.I.O.U.S🤣

I mean, the way she came running in a filmy style, and that Ishaan dude singing to her! Epic man!🤣

And then the typical Bro-Sis fight! I mean, she goes like, dare you use my tweasers for your pimples, and he's all set to do so🤣 And then, she LOCKS him in the bathroom! Mahi Rocks Man!🤣

Then the typical saas-bahu-bua fights! One comment that made me ROFL was, when mahi's mom goes like, paisa toh unke haathon ki dhool thi, and the saas goes like, toh woh kabhi nahate nahi the🤣🤣 And the after-comments of the Saas when her son asked them to keep quiet!🤣🤣

Best had to be, when mahi was holding the thongs in her hand, wondering, which is the front side and which one's the backside🤣🤣

And the DDLJ scene in the LIFT with Ishaan🤣🤣🤣 But it was so very relate-able! Like, many teens go like, OMG, he smiled at me, OMG, he spoke to me! It was all so REAL! Mahi is basically such a REAL girl! She isn't pretentious like most other characters!

And the Golgappa guy! Aww, He's so CUTE<33. I like him better than that Ishaan guy!

But I felt so bad when everyone made fun of her when she was trying to wear something! I mean, she's your own family member! Help her your fools! Don't discourage her like that! But Rosh and Sid are such amazing friends to Mahi.

And the scene in the party. LMAO! The way her dadi and her friends were staring at Mahi and that Golgappa guy when he helped her up to her feet🤣🤣 And the remark made by one of the females- Kitni aasaani se usse utha liya! Bilkul feather ki tarah🤣 And when she hid behind him and went up to the Bathroom🤣🤣

Aah, I soo adore that Golgappa guy and Mahi! Mahi is just so spontaneous and herself when she's with him! I really hope Ishaan is JUST a crush! And I would so not want Mahi to change herself for anyone! She's so perfect with all her imperfections! MAHI ROCKS<33

And the end credits. At 3-Hungry, at 5-Still Hungry, at 10-Hungrier than ever!🤣🤣🤣

Dude this show ROCKS! I so cannot wait for next week now!

The most funniest thing was.."I Am Sorry, mujhe nahi pata tha gole gappe pe bhi kisi ka naam likha hota hai" and before that to gole gapa wala vendor.." Uncle, aur itni der lagao ge...Something something I forgot.."....That is true nature of gole gappa lover, like me...HA HA HA..!!

She is like the real foodie, LOL..!! I can relate to her in every way she thinks about food..🤣..!!
