I KNOW RIGHT? Wasn't it amazing? I loveeeeeeeeeeed how it started off. While she was reading that letter. The whole "misfit" thing they used was so unique, and I think it was the perfect way to describe what Mahi really felt inside. I mean, she tries to be this confident girl who always stands up for herself (though the comebacks she comes up with are usually a tad bit too late 😛) but inside, she feels like an outcast in her own family. She knows how it feels to be cast aside.

I think what strikes a chord when it comes to Mahi as a character is the fact that we kind of all feel like misfits in some way or the other in our lives....our reasons may be different....but at one point or the other, we've all felt like we just don't fit in somehow.....the way the show begins with the letter that 'misfit' has written to Mahi and how Mahi replies back....witty yet cute at the same time....I liked that.
I really adored that bit. She's so witty. I loved the way she wrote back to that girl, but she admits herself (to herself) that she doesn't always follow her own advice. I really admire that about her. She isn't afraid to admit that. I also loved how she was having those flashbacks of her family pictures. Her at the side in all the pictures. It went from her being a little girl up 'till now.
Mahi's family is hilariously dysfunctional...and again that's something many ppl identify with I think....Definately! No family is perfect, and I think the Talwars' were presented in a very realistic manner.especially the conversation at the breakfast table....I thought that was a great way to introduce them....we got a 'saas-bahu' bickering session and yet it was done in such a natural manner....LOL....I already like Mahi's daadi and Dad....her brother is as annoying as all little brothers are....haha....and her 'ten on ten perfect' self-obsessed older sister....this lady looks familiar to me....I think she's from those whirlpool commercials 😆
She's done a few shows before... I remember her face. 😆 But again, I loved the interaction between Mahi and her family. From the bunch, I absoloutly ADORE her niece and her dad. Hahah, sooo cutee and natural. Her relationship with her siblings is something I can relate to. She locks her brother in the washroom, and feels like she's constantly being compared to her "perfect" sister.

There are little moments and things that I really enjoyed in the epi:

1) Mahi holding the thong in confusion and asking which side is the front side 🤣

🤣🤣🤣

2) Mahi cutting out the pic of that guy Sohail from the July issue and putting it in a photo frame and claiming him to be her boyfriend Rahul....lol

3) Mahi's elevator scene with Ishan....ROFL....everything from the way she plans to rush to the elevator at the exact moment to catch him there and then going off into her little dream sequence after that....the part I really enjoyed was once she's inside the elevator and she's got this little monologue going in her head as she gazes at him all dreamy-eyed....and I think she even called him her chamcham 🤣 🤣 🤣 OMG that has to be one of the best parts of today's episode. I LOVED the classic BG scores used throughout her dream sequence. The whole "Going down?" scene had me in 🤣

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED how she was talking to herself in her head. "OMG HE TAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALKED TO MEEEEEEEEEEEE" 🤣 that was SOOOOO SOOOOO cute!

4) Mahi's frustration with her clothes and always going back to her 'Thursday special'....LOL

HAHAH that was so sweet. "I love you" 🤣she's sooo adorable! *sighs*

5) Mahi's interactions with her 'best girl friend'.....I think everyone would want a best friend like that.....always encouraging her and boosting her morale...I loved their back and forth convo in the gymkhana club as they both sit at the bar and even later the convo when he's driving her back home....I loved that scene! Especially when he tells her that she's smart, beautiful among other things and she replies that he's high on neat pepsi 😆 😆 ....Such an amazing friend!
I replied to your other topic on him. Sid is AMAZING! I also love Roshni. She's got super amazing friends who love her for her. Roshni's the airhead, and Sid's the moral support. Gotta love 'em!

But my absolute fav. interactions in the epi were those b/w Mahi and her golgappa chor/pata nahin kaun hai manhoos 😆 😆 😆
HAHAHAHHAHAHAH OMG 🤣 so u caught her little comments on the credits too right?🤣

"Pata nahin yeh kaun hai....manhoos!" 🤣🤣🤣
There is something so laid back and sweet about this guy....from the way he backs off when she gets all belligerent about her golgappas and he says he'll go eat chaat instead 😆 ....funny moment there as Mahi looks at his canvas shoes and makes a face calling him a 'schoolboy' 😆 😆 .....and then when he shows up to help her to her feet after she trips on her heels....I liked that little interaction....the way he offers her a hand and says, 'I don't bite'...and she goes in irritation, 'but I do!" LOL and he goes, "I'll take my chances" 😆 ....awww....and what I found EXTRA hilarious in this scene was the way Dadi and her group of friends are staring at the two of them in the background🤣 🤣 🤣 .

I dont know why, but that scene reminded me of KHNH 🤣

It was SOOOOOO cute how he kept helping her. What an adorable guy! In more depth, I think Mahi's going to realize that she has so many expectations for her Mr.Right that she wont be able to know that this "manhoos" is everything she's ever dreamed of.

...I like the way he smiles at her as she keeps on ranting at him in irritation...it's really cute 😆 ....and the last scene when she grabs him and hides behind him and makes him walk her to the door so she can hide from Ishaan....LOLL....I loved his expressions in that scene....and in the end, she tells him to go and he's like, 'YOU go and then I'll also go" 😆 ....she behaves so crazily each time she meets him and yet he just keeps smiling in bemusement at her.... 😆

Couldn't have said it better myself. I'm liking this guy...because he looks at Mahi and doesn't judge her like her coworkers and family members. He just thinks that this is one keck of a crazy chick! I love that! This couple will surely work.

And then later on when Mahi is discussing him with 'her best girlfriend'...I keep forgetting his name *sigh* lol...and she dismisses him as a boring banker type...like she totally has him pegged and he's not interesting enough for her 😆 ....

I think it's obvious they are meant to be.....but Mahi will have the distraction of Mr. Ishan Singh Ahluwalia for now I guess 😆 😆

Mahi's obsession with shoes is cute.....the way she's so dazzled by Ishan's shoes and so contemptuous of Mr. Golgappa chor's....haha....
HAHAHAHAH she's like "I have 64 shoes- SIXTY-FOUR" 🤣
I also loved the ending credits....the way they showed the name of each cast member....really entertaining 👏 .....I was laughing out loud when I read the bit with "Pata nahin kaun hai manhoos'....and 'My family and other random animals'🤣 🤣 🤣
The credits were my favourite 🤣 her commentary was sooo original and hillarious 🤣 CHOO CHWEEEEEEEEEEET!

The office staff....the 'kutti and kamini'...LOL....they are OTT in a way....and her boss who keeps forgetting her name...lol....she's alright for now....I think they should add more zing to the office characters.
I agree. Mahi isn't a tough name 🤔 and the kutti and kamini piss me off. 🤣
Overall, Mahi is just adorable....the kind of character that endears you to her and makes you want to root for her.....I'm looking forward to the episode next week now :-)

I find Ishaan pretty lame actually....uski ajeeb si french beard or whatever....he looks like a villian :P....Mr. Golgappa chor is much more ADORABLE! :P...and I agree, Pushti is indeed damn adorable as Mahi!

WORDDD! I also thought mr. pata nahin kaun manhoos was the highlight...he really is cute...and tall....LOL....and I loved his characterization...he's amused by her antics yet still so chilled out....loved it!

hahahaha...her friends were hilarious! ANd kya dialogues the! I also loved the feather wala dialogue🤣....Seriously the dialogue writers are doing a great job in this show!
