@ Priya.., Soundarya22...awesome review 👏...

Correct me if I am wrong that RK's hatred for KC and such rituals is a lot stronger and dominates his thought process,and surpass his recently developed belief in Madhu's genuine intentions? I mean his outburst was justfied enough but his claim ...tum bhe aaj baake ladkiyon ke tarah ho gaye ho ...indicates that he is yet to understand Madhu completely. Madhu didnt voice her true intentions but RK reads her as open book,then why he blamed her that she is doing all this for gaining respect from him. ...what a coincidence Even Radha had blamed Madhu in the same way that she is doing this to gain brownie points !!!...Rofl ...RK and Radha at least agree on the same point ...🤢

I for one want Madhu to show RK that rituals might be sham for him for all his justified reasons but she is among those few who have faith in them...if he has total faith in him not believing in XYZ then she too has her own reasons to abide by her thought process ...they need to find a common link here where they can see and at least respect each other's POV in a more rational manner ...RK doubting Madhu's intentions is not jelling with me even if he said all this out of concern and his past experiences ...Phew...running to read a few more reviews ...

@RK throwing away the food prepared by Madhu - I thought that he is someone who respects the food that has been prepared and will not see it get wasted. The above statement was made by him in front of everyone and whatever happened to that? He just decided to go back on his words because he was angry over KC /Sargi fiasco and decided to take it on the food prepared by Madhu? Not cool. I can totally understand him giving his piece of mind to Madhu but disrespecting the food was a bit too much. He didn't have to eat or touch the food tray for that matter. He could have just asked her to take the food away and then sunaofyed her.

He is angry that he didn't realize that people can poison his wife's food in their hate for her, will leave her to faint and go to eat by themselves. Day 1 he yelled at his mom...because a corner of his heart still calls her as his mother. it was like...How could you go so low ? Day 2, he gets to know the conspiracy. His mind is already weighed down by practical stuff...equivalent to thinking of her heath and not be any cause of death of her...so he is weighing everything in terms of life and death of Madhu and...lo...there he sees Madhu in a La La land totally oblivious to everything. Per him, she had not an ounce of respect for her body and health condition and here he is mortified of what happened to her and has set aside everything of his work for the day for her to make permanent arrangements for her ...He just couldn't control his anger and went ballistic.

yes, it was emotional moment for him and bhadaas poora Madhu pe nikala jo jad bhi thi saari nautanki ki. And I am sure somewhere he is at least at peace that she kept that fast and he got to know Bhatia's plans for his Biwi. It was like Wake Up RK !!!!

amazing Shri! very convincing,👏 but still throwing the food was not needed. He should have kept that aside and threw some pot on the ground would have been preferred😃

I forgot to mention this earlier...but I didnt like it either😕 ...He was the one who during the dinning table scene though refused the food, gave it to Radha instead so that food is not wasted ...He is worried for Madhu, but why to throw it down ...he could have directly refused ...and then band bjao his BIWI for cooking ...Sigh ...

Nids,

I know why RK threw away the food.. Infact RK himself gives the answer. Everyone thinks Madhu is a gone case. But no.. RK is much worse.. He can no longer think straight where she is concerned.. In his concern for her, he is not even willing to spare her feelings.. This is known as obsession.. In short, he is becoming like the psycho guy in Dil Se Dil Dua.. 😆 In fact he himself says he is paagal- everyone took it lightly, but he was very serious.. SBFs are you listening? All his screws are loose.. Anyone in your club knows how to tighten his screws?

@Nids - Thanks my friend! What RK does not understand is that Madhu decided to show her love and affection by preparing the dishes that he liked. He is under the impression that she is doing this because she thinks that it is part of her wifely duties. She never expressed her love to him directly and was trying to do so by getting ready for him and writing a letter to pour her feelings in it. He never got to see or read the letter which actually would have made him react differently towards her not in a mushy way but atleast there would have been tenderness in him just like the way he answered her when she asked him why he slept in the chair. He did not have a good night sleep and she thought the least she could do was to prepare a good meal for him to make up for that. But what she does not know is that he went through this crazy investigation downstairs only to find out that people who live and eat his food are against him and would stoop so low as to risk someone's life. That might have hit him hard and he took that anger out on poor Madhu who was in his direct line of sight of anger and fury when he did not even have time to calm/cool down. I think the words he said came out in anger and there is no meaning to it as to whether he questions her intentions. Eventhough, he accused her of being like any other girl, he knows that she is very different from other girls because she never drooled over him because he is superstar RK and unlike other girls who would do anything to be with him she did everything in her power to set him straight when she knew that he committed an accident and did not back down inspite of knowing his power, strength and status in the society and film industry.

I have been skimming through the discussion here. What seems to be consistent is that RK showed his concern Madhu through his rant. I get the point he is angry at her for not taking care of herself but aren't there many other people in the house who he holds much stronger grudges against yet he has never reacted so strongly towards any of them. For example, Dipali or Radhaji. He shows his begrudge towards them more through sarcasm and not in such a strongly direct way he did to Madhu. In short he treats both Radhaji and Dipali like strangers to him. They say people find it easier to yell and fight with those close to them than those distant. We often fight with those very close to us for an example our siblings or parents for stupid things. Madhu and him seemed to have unconsciously developed a stronger intimacy with each other than they have with anyone else. So Madhu can behave like a child around RK and RK can directly express his rage to her without sarcasm which he usually resorts to.

@zoya
Loved your take but I didn't understand your connection to the party I didn't know RK was mad at Madhu at the party I thought he always had planned to humiliate her at the party but just hit her with the humiliation when she least expected it.

LOL! They say RK was always meant to be the junoon aka obsession aspect of the story. And Madhu was always meant to be the ishq in the story. But I really hope RK doesn't go as crazy as the guy in Dil Se Dil Dua.
