SBC post

Sona, After reading your last post, I want to ask a question. Are you a Spelling Bee Critic or a Spelling Bee fan? Or Neither?

@psycho: He is on a flight to get there it seems. Did no one notice how agitated he was in today's episode? First recruiting the MIBs, then throwing away food, Yelling at her.. These are primary symptoms.. I dread to think of the second stage- In that 'Dadi amma Dadi amma' happens. Can you imagine anyone sane singing the song to his Biwi? 😆

Nids,

I know why RK threw away the food.. Infact RK himself gives the answer. Everyone thinks Madhu is a gone case. But no.. RK is much worse.. He can no longer think straight where she is concerned.. In his concern for her, he is not even willing to spare her feelings.. This is known as obsession.. In short, he is becoming like the psycho guy in Dil Se Dil Dua.. 😆 In fact he himself says he is paagal- everyone took it lightly, but he was very serious.. SBFs are you listening? All his screws are loose.. Anyone in your club knows how to tighten his screws?

Junoonesque ishq is verrry exciting, my dear, as I gathered from all the hyperventilating among the SBCC members when he tied the dori yesterday😆.

Madhu will set him straight because she is also a phangurl...she represents our club.😃

@ Charu,

Pls don't mind. But wanted to tell about my viewpoint on letter writing. It gives you a sense of poise and articulation for a hazy mind.

For some letters mean speaking their heart and mind out. It becomes special bonding. I have indulged in lot of letter writing with my friends, even when we were in same class. We used to exchange letters through hands. That's how they are now my friends for life. What you talk and what you write are two separate things...infact two different personalities.

my viewpoint on writing is the same as yours 😊 but not for telling your husband "i love you" 😳 if she's not comfortable expressing her feelings on his face, then she should wait for tht moment to arrive when she can do it confidently...he's her husband and she expects a normal hubby wife relation with him...

PS Abs. loved ur take on RK in all the prev. posts..can't reply to each one of them but they were fab...except throwing away the tray, whatever he said n his reaction made perfect sense to me..😛

Oh No.. Spelling Bee is RK... See how he always says 'O-R-D-E-R' and 'T-R-U-S-T'.. So I call him spelling Bee.. So the question means- are you an RK fan or RK Critic?

Correction. We werent hyperventillating when he tied the dori, but were celebrating the success of our aandolan.. Our demands are slowly being met.. Our next two demands are pillow throwing and Dori Untying.. 😆

@Madhu: Great.. You take her.. 😆

As always - so interesting to read all the amazing analyses here - everyone writes so beautifully and thinks things through to quite an abstract level. It makes the series a kind of piece of living literature so, lots of fun and thought-provoking, too.

At this point, you all have far more patience than I have for the labyrinthine thought processes of these characters. RK is pitiable, I realise, but he is also abusive in many ways; he blows so hot and cold that no confidence can really be placed in him. It seems everyone is ready to understand his myriad spiritual wounds (which I recognise are quite real) but where Madhu is concerned - not so much. She too has been betrayed by many of the facets of life we might hope would favour us; her reaction was simply different. Rather than lose faith, she strengthened it. I don't say this is better or worse than RK's take-away lessons, nor would I classify it as more or less noble. It is her personality.

Still, why is his every smallest hint of concern for her lauded while her nobility will come only from her patient tolerance of his slow evolution into an emotionally intact being? It seems a double standard. I truly don't mean either character is faulty; I just feel there is a deep well-spring of compassion for his sorrows that somehow she has been denied.

And, just as an aside...who is allowed to poison someone and face no ensuing justice? We have already had a knife-wielding murderer let off with a hug. How can Deepali face no sanction for a potentially lethal act?

So, although I know I am on a lonely island with thi sort of opinion, I am feeling a little 😡 with the whole situation now.

Theek hai yaaron...throw the chappals.

Oh okay lol! I have always had mixed feelings about RK. I thought he was very insensitive at point in the story and was rooting for Madhu to bajao which ever way she had the power to. As the show has gone on he has redeemed himself for me, especially be letting Malik go for attempting to murder him. I saw a huge change there in a RK who could forgive and forget so easily from a RK who ruined a girls life just because she brought him to justice for the crime he committed. But if I were Madhu's shoes I still dont know if I would fall for him and be so ready to confess my feelings. Today I agree with his logic health over rituals but his actions were never the less wrong. I'm just trying to find a deeper meaning to them since we can't undo his actions and I have had enough with complaining about the character of RK who I can't change.

He is angry that he didn't realize that people can poison his wife's food in their hate for her, will leave her to faint and go to eat by themselves. Day 1 he yelled at his mom...because a corner of his heart still calls her as his mother. it was like...How could you go so low ? Day 2, he gets to know the conspiracy. His mind is already weighed down by practical stuff...equivalent to thinking of her heath and not be any cause of death of her...so he is weighing everything in terms of life and death of Madhu and...lo...there he sees Madhu in a La La land totally oblivious to everything. Per him, she had not an ounce of respect for her body and health condition and here he is mortified of what happened to her and has set aside everything of his work for the day for her to make permanent arrangements for her ...He just couldn't control his anger and went ballistic.

yes, it was emotional moment for him and bhadaas poora Madhu pe nikala jo jad bhi thi saari nautanki ki. And I am sure somewhere he is at least at peace that she kept that fast and he got to know Bhatia's plans for his Biwi. It was like Wake Up RK !!!!

amazing Shri! very convincing,👏 but still throwing the food was not needed. He should have kept that aside and threw some pot on the ground would have been preferred😃

Some don't have the guts to throw food. Some have. As simple as that. Its anger. So much that it is surpassing the mental sanity and you can throw the food even. Some throw the plate away, some go and trash the food in the bin.Once their anger subsides (and you may agree, how much the blood must have boiled, heaving heart, trembling hands in some cases), they always feel bad that a plate of food was thrown. If someone just tells us that he threw a plate of food, we almost know how much me must have lost his cool, especially for people who are known to respect food.
