Part 2

"Good morning sir"
"Good morning and congrats sir"
"Congrats boss"

The voices all echoed.
The man just walked on ,acknowledging all the greetings with a slight nod…
His company had just doubled its worth and acquired an imp merger but his mind was somewhere else..
He entered his office and went straight to the window,looking out at the bustling city below..

He was gonna do it..no matter wat it was high time,that old place was filled with memories,painful ones….and the one thing he didn't want was that pain…

But dadi was being stubborn.
Her insistence on goin there was fine ,but wanting him to come along was not…
Wanting him to stay there was even more difficult…
But dadi being dadi..he couldn't say no to her…she ,could b ,a slight bully when she put her mind to it…
At the idea of his frail dadi,bullying him,Jai walia,the man of steel as he was refered to when ppl were being kind,a slight smile crossed his lips…


P:sir may I come in?

The man turned around and Pia felt the same slightness of breath that most ppl felt when they looked at him…Pia was Jai's personal assistant and had been with the company for 3 years but even she didn't understand him..


Handsome in an uncharacteristic way Jai walia was notorius for his icy demeanor,made even more stark due to his unusual looks,

most prominent being his grey eyes.the only reminder of his mother .

Eyes that could turn a chilling ice grey and make u want to disappear or which could give of the look of a stormy sky,before the storm actually hits…add to that…no laughter lines ..at all….



The other odd thing was his lock of white hair at his widows peak…Pia sometimes thought that it was a combination of two things alongwith the fact that the man hadn't smiled more than 6-7 times since she had been working for him that made some of his staff remark ,that he was half machine,,,

J: wat is it?

P; just wanted to show u these papers and of course to congratulate u..

J:I want u to complete the rest of the paperwork and cancel all my appointments for next week

P:next week?

J: yeah..next week…,I have to go to with my grandmother she wants to spend some time there before I sell it…

P:if I may remind u ,there is still some imp paperwork u have to read thru and sign,not to mention some reports that will b available mid week..


Jai was silent for a few min…

J:send them over to me there..while the rest,im sure u can deal with things while im gone.

P: rite…anything else…

J: business as usual ….


They get down to work…

moria is a fictional hill station town wher bani lives.. ....dont know much about india so thought i'd make my town fictional...its kinda like ...simla....

Part 3

Moria was a beautiful place
Lush green mountains, flowing streams and nestled up in the mountain ,the quaint town itself.
A picture postcard kind of place
The townspeople were simple friendly folks

Rite now they were all happily anticipating the return of spring, prepping their shops and getting ready for a new day…

Jai walia, however saw none of this.
His eyes had turned the color of a stormy sky ,looking beyond everything,
focusing on some far off point,,


Flash back***

A little boy running thru the valley ,then down the road, hardly 5 yrs old,
flowers in his hands..

"jai baba ..wait! don't run so fast…..u'll fall!!" his nanny called out
but the little boy just ran even faster ,in a hurry to get home, to give the flowers to his mom

only ,when he got home…..
his mother and father were fighting again, yelling at each other…
he just stood at the doorstep ,the flowers lying forgotten at his feet

FB ends****

Jai brushed the thoughts aside
Turning towards dadi, as their car sped up the road leading to walia mansion ,he saw her
watching him.


D: beta kya soch rahe ho?

J: kuch bhi tu nahi dadi

D: dekho Jai ,main janti hoon tumhain yahan ana pasand nahi
liekin kabhi kabhi ateet ka zakham bharne ke liye insaan ko ateet ke saaye ka samna karna
parta hai

J: dadi really…im ok…my past has no power over me any more.. ap tension mat lo..

Dadi just looked at him closely,sighing to herself,thinking about the little boy who had been the sunshine of their home ..this man sitting next to her was no longer him…he was a stranger but she supposed anyone in his place would prob have done the same…"yeh aj bhi mujh se jhoot nahi bol pata" dadi thought to herself..

Suddenly the car stops with a jerk..

J: driver yeh kya kar rahe ho??!!
R u crazy??

DRVR: woh…… sorry sir..leikin who ladki acahnak se samne ….

J: kya ladki ladki laga rakhi hai…dekh ker chalaya karo…
Kahan hai ladki?!

DRVR: sir je ..woh abhi samne se bhagi hai…

Jai looked towards where the driver was pointing , all he saw was the bac of a running girl..

J: chalo ab…

Car moves on….

"Ufff!!! Aik tu pushkar bhi na….khud tu dair tak jaagta hi hai…ooper se mujhe bi sone nahi deta…..
bani chai bana do,, bani yeh kardo..bani who kardo…
hostel jaaker loag sudher jaate hain, in maharaj ki tu adaat aur bigar gayi hai….
Wahan ki saari kami puri kar raha hai yahan…" Bani muttered to herslf…


Masi: bani…tu phir se khud se batein kar rahi hai??
Sudhar ja ladki,kitni dafa toka hai tujhe…"

B: kya masi ap bhi na..us pushkar ko samjhao na…..kal phir mujhe baton main
Laga kar itni dair tak jagaya
Ab khud usey tu raat main jagne ki practice hai,liekin mujhe tu subha caf jaana hota hi,
Magar who mane tab na…

M: accha baba , ab bus… tayar ho… ab dair nahi ho rahi.??

B:oh no masi…ap bhi na…aur late kara diya….

Quickly changes …

M: nashta tu karle

B: caf main hi karloongi..bye…


Runs out the door.stumbling at the last step

M: sambhal ke

Bani turned around at once and repeated with masi "kitni dafa kaha hai araam se chal".
Laughs out…" ab main jaon??"

M: shaitan kahin ki..

Bani walked sedately until she turned the corner of the gate..then broke out in a run again…
She was always late….



Ok folks… that's it for now….
Do let me know if u want some things or if u don't like stuff…it's a bit slow for now..
But I want it to b a more novel like thing …build up is imp too…
