Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira falls victim to Jalebi’s child trafficking plot

In tonight's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai episode, Jaya comments that it is good she joined for the meal. She then tells Abhira not to share her food on this particular day. Abhira, meanwhile, is preoccupied, wondering how she will be able to meet Armaan and get updates about Maira.

As Kesari isn't feeling well, Abhira requests her to stand in her place in the food queue. However, Kesari refuses, explaining that she is unwell and has no strength to argue or fight. With no choice left, Abhira decides to slip out quietly through the back. Seeing her, Jaya questions why Abhira always tries to act like a saviour. Abhira gently responds that helping others comes naturally to her, and it is simply a part of who she is.

Armaan Walks Out of Pooja

On the other side, Armaan sits in the pooja ceremony with Geetanjali but keeps checking the time, eager to leave for some urgent work. Before the rituals begin, he requests the Pandit to start once he is gone. However, the Pandit informs him that the ceremony has been organised specifically for him and Geetanjali. This leaves Armaan shocked, and he immediately tries to walk out.

Geetanjali stops him, insisting the pooja will take only an hour, but Armaan loses his patience. He recalls how he was misled into coming downstairs by using Abhira's name and makes it clear that he will not be manipulated. He also reminds Vidya that he had repeatedly said he did not wish to be part of the ritual, but Geetanjali convinced him by claiming it was meant for Abhira's return. Now, realising the truth, Armaan feels betrayed.

He firmly declares that Geetanjali is not his priority and that his focus is solely on Abhira's return. Despite Vidya's attempts to pacify him, Armaan walks away from the ceremony, leaving everyone stunned.

Maira Sneaks Out of the House

Kaveri then declares that Krish and Tanya will carry out the puja instead. Tanya attempts to excuse herself, but Kaveri firmly instructs her to do it. She further asks Kajal to bring a chunari for Tanya as part of the ritual.

Meanwhile, Maira decides to go meet Abhira directly, expressing her frustration with Armaan. At the same time, Kajal and Sanjay realise that Maira has sneaked out of the house and immediately begin tracking her.

Elsewhere, Abhira experiences sudden restlessness, unable to understand why she feels uneasy. Armaan soon discovers that Abhira's visitation rights have been revoked. Shocked, he rushes to the jailer to question the decision.

The jailer explains that Abhira violated prison regulations and is being punished for it. Armaan defends her, insisting she is innocent and wrongly accused, but the jailer remains firm, stating that only a court order will allow them to meet. Armaan grows frustrated, feeling Abhira is making her own situation tougher.

Abhira Confronts Jalebi

Maira continues trying to meet Abhira, unaware that Sanjay and Kajal are following her closely, determined to stop her. At the same time, Abhira grows increasingly anxious, sensing that something terrible is about to happen.

While walking around, Abhira overhears Jalebi on a phone call, discussing her illegal dealings. Jalebi speaks about how business should not slow down and asks how many deliveries are left. Her associate replies that only one is pending.

Before Jalebi can say anything further, Abhira suddenly appears in front of her, leaving her startled. Jalebi quickly instructs her men to inform her once all five parcels are secured, then disconnects the call. She casually asks Abhira if she would like to connect with Maira, but Abhira firmly refuses, determined not to break prison rules again.

Jalebi Reveals her Past

Suspicious, Abhira questions Jalebi about the extra phone in her possession, as the one she had earlier was already confiscated by the police. She also raises doubts about why Jalebi needs so many phones. Jalebi brushes off the suspicion with a false explanation, but Abhira pushes further and demands to know what crime landed her in jail.

Jalebi then reveals her involvement in a child trafficking racket, leaving Abhira horrified. She clarifies that the operation specifically targeted young girls. She then taunts Abhira about whether she truly killed her own friend, but Abhira remains silent.

Jalebi continues to share her story, saying the system inside the jail never listens to the truth. She explains that her husband was a cruel man who destroyed the lives of many young girls for money, and when the police finally caught him, they pinned all the charges on her. That was how she ended up behind bars.

Maira Gets Kidnapped

Just then, Jalebi receives another update from her men that the fifth parcel has been secured and a huge profit is on the way. In a parallel scene, the reality of this so-called fifth parcel is revealed, it is none other than Maira, who has been abducted and is being taken away in a van. Despite chasing after the vehicle, Sanjay and Kajal are unable to prevent the kidnappers from escaping with her.

Back in the jail, Abhira's restlessness intensifies. At home, Armaan informs Kaveri that he could not meet Abhira. Just then, Kajal breaks the shocking news that Maira has been kidnapped. At first, Armaan dismisses it as unbelievable, but Kajal insists it is true.

Vidya lashes out at Kajal, accusing her of failing to safeguard Maira. Geetanjali offers to accompany Armaan to search for Maira, but Vidya intervenes, putting the entire blame on Kajal for not taking enough responsibility. Meanwhile, Jalebi approaches Abhira for help, though Abhira remains doubtful about her real intentions.
