bani shivered slightly…
she was cold on the outside.. but getting rapidly
warm on the inside
mayb it was the effect his touch was having on her….
Something she could see in his eyes as they followed
His fingers movements on her face…
It was something the likes of which she had never seen before..
Not even when he had almost kissed her in his bedroom….
As the memory of that almost kiss came to her mind she blushed…
Thankfully it was very dark and he probably hadn't seen
her face turn pink….

jai had put his finger on her mouth to silence her…
well…it was partly true…
the other part was, if she continued to speak,
he would have kissed her..
so just because he didn't want to take any advantages,
he had done it…
though now he knew he had made an even bigger blunder
coz he couldn't seem to move away from her…
his fingers traced her lips…her cheeks…
her nose….
He wanted the memory of bani with him….
He wanted to have something to hold onto when he went away….
He saw something flash in her eyes….
An emotion …. something he couldn't recognize…
but her eyes suddenly lowered…
she started to move bac…
but he couldn't let that happen…
his other hand just caught her by the hand…
he pulled her closer ….
She didn't resist….
But she wouldn't look up either….
J; I was smiling because I remembered the first time we met..
Jai tried to coax her into looking up at him
But her head remained resolutely bent…..
J: u pushed me into the fountain …..
B: I did not push u,…. I slipped……and u ….u….
In her haste to relieve her self of blame she looked
up and her breath caught in her throat
he was so close she had to tilt her head to look at him..
he was close enough for her to smell his cologne
close enough to see that his grey eyes
had a darker shade of grey at the rims…
close enough to kiss…..
she moved away from him with a small sound…
but he would have nothing of that…
he hadn't let go of her hand…
and as she stood with her bac to him
bani knew it was inevitable…it would happen…
becoz it was meant to…..

but instead of turning to face him…
she stood as she was…
he slowly came up behind her…..
his fingers slowly moving across her shoulder blades…
he came close enough to put his arm around her from behind
and pulld her closer to himself..
bani who had closed her eyes at the brushing of his
fingers across her bac…let out a small gasp….as she came
in full contact with him…

Jai was watching her with an intensity that was taking her breath away…
At that moment in time……bani knew wat passion was……
A passion she had never thought she was capable of …..
A passion she didn't think she could bear….
Jai moved his hand from her shoulder to her face
Tracing the line of her nose and lips…
He cupped her face in his hands..
His thumbs rubbing the side of her eyes softly….
Rubbing the kajjal that had
crept up to the corner due to the rain…
bani let out a soft sigh and her eyes just closed involuntarily…

her side.. gave in to herself…

as if to push him away….
Jai moved his hand down her arm as if to comfort her ..
His fingers creating a strange friction as they rubbed
off some of the droplets
Of water from her skin…
And oddly she felt the warmth spread thru her limbs….
It was like he knew , she was scared and confused…..
And he was trying to tell her , thru his hands…
Thru his actions…
That she could trust him…
That he would never do anything to hurt her…..

Bani opened her eyes at the question she heard in jai's voice…..

Bani looked at him in sudden realization that even though he wanted to…..
He was asking for her permission….
The knowledge that he would do that….
Even though she was completely at his whim….
Made her heart soar…….
She slid her hands from where they rested against his heart
Upto his shoulders ……..
And pressed herself closer to him…telling him without words…..
Jai slowly ..almost reverently leaned down
and placed his lips on hers….

ok...so the kiss hasnt really happened.....just started....but i dont think i have wat it takes to take things any further...😳..but im still gonna try.....😉..j/k
