CHAPTER 14

after a long teasing session and roasting manik in the fire of jealousy as a chicken,the gang finally decide to leave and were soon off to their houses,where everyone was having a nice sleep after being satisfied by maniks reaction,manik on the other hand was just tossing over his bed,his mind was struck on the gangs mission of uniting nandini an aryamann,everytime he thought about them being together,a strange kind of realization stuck him-WHY M I CONCERENED IF THEY GET TOGETHER?NANDU IS JUST A FRND,THEN Y?and everytime he answered sayingM HER FRND,I NEED MAKE SURE THAT SHE GETS THE BEST,UNLIKE ARYAMANN

with this session of repeated question and answers he finally slept

NEXT MORNING

as expected,manika and soha came together,it has only been two days since they were together as a couple yet maniki started feeling detached from her,but then he always brushed those thoughts away

m:so lets go guys,competetion ke liye registration bhi karwana hai

al:yeah lets go

fab5 &soha went and got the registeration,then as planned,aryamann and nandini were made to enter together,this boiled maniks blood,but he composed himself

abhi:yaar even i wanted to participate,but hamare paas band hi nai hai,bass navya hai,we need 2 more members,that too the leads,aur last date aaj ki hai

arymanns suggestion brighten up everyones hope,he without their interference did what they had planned,it seemed as if even god was with them

m:luk,no one asked for u...

nandinis comment once again burnt in the hell of jealousy

m:nandu what r u saying,tum aise kaise kisi ko bhi

n:manik,thats aryamann,i know him,plus its our band and no one asked for ur suggestion so..

nandinis rude behaviour irked manik,he was angry,angry that nandini chose to be with aryamann rather than him,but he kept quiet

mu:but ek prblm hai,tum logo ke paas ek guitarist kam parra hai,i mean abhi will be on the drums,navya on the keyboard,ryamann with the electric guitar but nano toh classical singer hai,haina???

n:oh yeah,ab kya karein,kahan se laye ek base guitarist

everyone got silent,then soha spoke

s:dekha,nothingis gonna work.and smirked

c:ek rasta hai,if aryamann cud teach u

and once again cabirs comment made manik loose all his senses,he was now sure that cabir was a devil in the disguise of a human,sent on this earth to make maniks life hell

m:cabir,tu kya bolra hai,aryamann kaise sikha sakt hai nandu ko?

al:kyu,kyu nai sikha sakta

n:but guys we have just 2 weeks for practice,how will i manage

ar:thats not a prblm,luk ur a veena player,so inti prblm nai hogi,bas if u r ok with it

n:ummm...we donrt have any choice so fine

fab4&gang:VOILA!!!great so jake tum bhi registration karwa do

d:but tumhare grp ka naam kya hoga??

abhi:grt chalo lets go and do it,and the whole gang went with them except for manik and soha

s:manik baby,dont worry,ham hi jeetenge

but manik was not worried about or winning,he cud smilingly loose for nandini but what troublwed him was aryamann being their band member,the more he tried to stop aryaman from getting close to nandini,the more he failed

MANIKS POV

oh god,yeh kya horra hai,nandu and aryamann together,that too in a band,agar iss beech indono ke mann mein ek doosre ke liye feelings aa gai toh??no no,think positive manik,aisa kuchh nai hoga,be positive

no matter how much manik tried to pacify himself,these thoughts were haunting him and he didnt even realize that soha was continously blabbeling something,till then even the gang returned

mu:ok,so finally,lets together,read out the rules

n:rule no 1-the band song must be in hindi

rule2-after selecting the top four bands,there will be a solo performance

rule 3-the solo must be in english

rule 4-participants r not allowed to miss more than 2 classes for the practice

the participants will get 2 weejs for practice

ALL THE BEST!!!!

m:hmm..i think aaj ke liye two periods will be enough what say

abhi:i think hame abhi nandu ko guitar classes deni chahiye

nav:nahi,lets do one thing,abhi practice karte hain,guitar classes toh aryamann nandu ko after college dedega,AKELE,coz agar ham saath honge toh yeh disturb honge,and we have 2 weeks,so 1 week their practice and then hamari practice,beech mein time milega toh saath bhin karlenge like on weekends

navya ALELE again hit manik hard,hard enough to go all numb

MANIKS POV

akele!!!nai yeh dono akele nai jaa sakte,agar inke beech kuchh,agar aryamann ne nandu ko

and in the next 10 secs manik saw a series of events where nandini like a typical bollywood movie,wearing a sarre wud fall and aryamann being the hero will come in the same colour combination cloths,will held her waist tight and wud seductively bring his face close to hers,their lips wud be just inches apart,and that was it,manik was not able to imagine further and tightly closed his eyes,he then said

m:no guys i dont think aisa...and when he opened his eyes his saw sohas confused face,and ,and what was this,the rest were already gone

m:yeh sab kahan gaye

s:manik un ki class hai,class ke liye gaye hain,parr tumhe ky hua,itna paseena kyu arra hai

m:u..kuchh nai,soha tum canteen jao,mujhe kuchh kaam hai main do min mein aara hoon

SOHA LEFT

m:ab main kya karoon,kaise rokoon in sab ko,haan,apne ghar invite kar deta hoon

everyone on a conference call

m:guys,woh i was thinking ki aaj fir milte hai na

n:but manik meri practice hai aru ke saath

Awww...poor Manik, but I am kind of loving it... esp Nandhu's enthusiasm...loved Cabir and looking forward to seeing how else Manik will be tortured before he realizes the truth...

Y iz Manik so dumb!! Matlab soha to h hi nd nandu bhi chahiye.

I am so angry on him. Soha called nandini dumb but still he took soha's side nd said whats wrong jn what she said. I wanted nandu to hit him with her famous punch then and there.

But great update. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Waiting for d next one.
