Mansi sorry to Say this but even i dont think we have got 3 years leap. The war with Uday Singh was already on the floor even before the birth of kids. Even the war on Amer was waged to suppress the Rajputs and after marriage he was able to think little logically and now has lost all his sense. May be the talk between MS and US failed and hence this war and the time referred were in that context. May be they may give Salim directly after this war and ehen he returned he may get to hear the news of Jodha's pregnancy.
one more thing is that jodha is still wearing the same discoloured pink and green dress. Surely they cant lost for 3 years. Jokes apart, Jalal knows he is illogical and still has the same love for Jodha but as he is being haunted that his love for her costed their child, He is not ready to show is weak side and covering it with his Rudeness. He is grabbing the opportunity to escape the haunting memories of his oids death and hence this instant war declaration.
We still have scope for Ruqu to get exposed after this war. Lets wait for that with hopes.

in whole scenario one n only Jodha whose character is kindling luminously. despite remaining guiltiness in herself of Jodha, Jala forcefully imposed sense of guilt in Jodha's mind n made her quite lonely but Jodha didn't crumble down, she stood still with her self respect, stood for jalal acc to her promise that in ups n downs of life she would always remain with Jalal. Hats of jodha.
If this brutal behavior of Jalal is his own manner to vent his agony then i would like to say he selfishly has used only Jodha as his forefront.

Guys let us not take his words to Jodha about him telling her to be with Husein seriously as any man in distress will do the same when he realizes that his love or lust of the night cost a life. Even he knew those words he said in the night about you should have been with Husein were shallow as he had sent words for her service with Moti and that was the clear reason Moti asked Jodha when she returned in the night, that she was supposed to spend the night with her husband that night. Its just that he could not live with that guilt, he was trying to wash out that feeling in the rain water and when Jodha approached him and tried to console him that he should not blame himself for that situation, he just tried to off shoulder it on her. Jodha was clearly aware of that and that was the reason she didn't fall apart with his words and tried to follow him. Otherwise, if his words had the intensity of the blame, she would have collapsed then and there. So lets not take each and every word with the face value.

Someone called zee abt the three yr leap n they called back to confirm that no leap has taken place n the account on twitter of the writer could be fake or misused. They seem to have preponed the chittor war.

I was initially very sad to see ja accusing jo n pushing her away.

I admired Jo's resilience n her undying love even in the face of rejection n cruel accusations from ja.

I liked how Jo did not break down n become too depressed or Run away from problems, but still had the spunk to come n confront ja about the ethicality of killing so many people in the name of angst, n pain. (I still can't accept Ektas justification of ja's mass murdering 30,0000 in chitoor in the name of jalal becoming jallad due to kids death),

Jo did not act like the guilty n hide from jas anger, I liked how she went to him and tried to reason with him,

she was just giving him time to recover from the loss, having rejected her, her love, the solace n comfort in her arms, n sharing the misery, ja was hurting even more,

Why did he do it? Accuse n reject her?

In addition to what others have said abt guilt n pain n hurting I wld like to add,

Ja cld have supported Jo, accepting their mutual mistake n guilt, comforted each other n gotten over the loss n pain relatively easily,

Ja cld have just blamed himself, his failure as a father n husband, Jo wld have comforted him n accepted the loss n gotten over it,

But he accused ja n hurt her n rejected her so she wldnt come to him to comfort him, n make him forget his loss n pain

for he wanted to hold on to his pain, holding on to the pain is holding on to his kids ,

Letting go of the pain n healing is letting go of his kids n slowly forgetting his kids.

He didn't want to heal, he didn't want to forget, instead he wanted to not let his sons go,

only when he is ready to accept that they r gone, only when he is ready to face the loss, his anger, n guilt will go n he can mourn, n heal, n go on with his life.

I am not justifying his actions.

Really liked the thilak scene.

When ja shouted that only the person who is supposed to do the rasam has to do it, I loved it for multiple reasons,

Finally he shouted at Ruks,(however silly the reason maybe, or even it was meant for her) he shouted at her, hoorah!

maybe he was trying to bend Jo to his will

Even after overtly pushing her off, he still wanted her to send him off with blessings

MYbe he was saying butt off Ruks, not your place, u stay where u r supposed to be, don't interfere

Maybe he is saying as a king I have my duties

Felt like there's still hope. If Jo had broken down wld have hated ja. Since Jo is strong n fighting for her love n seems to understand ja, I have decided to wait n watch what ja is going to do before giving up on JA or feel too upset about it.

P.s. Infant mortality was so high in those days, I guess people just attributed it to fate n will of god. Don't think people went berserk, they mourned but didn't loose thier heads like ja. They probably were more like Jo. Cvs threw in the love making, n guilt trip between Jajo, to move the story, n show war jalal.

See till now she feels that his heart is hurting and she knows that some essence of that Herat is there. After she gets to know what he did in the war, she will turn cold to him. That is how I want it to be. I want her to say that she has nothing to do with him any more. She should tell him to go to his cheat come lying come best friend, his BEK. See we very well know that they will end up together, but in no way I want jodha pregancy at this time. As Gem said it will look fake. mansi your post was full of positivity ...you have described the episode beautifully ...we are really disgusted with the way the cv's have given us the most shocking twist ...jalal had vented out his guilt ridden pain upon jodha !!!!!!!!...to justify the cruelty of chittor war the cv's have laid it's blame upon the twin's death and a return of a jallad jalal with no dil, no mohabbat for anyone !!!... as jalal had found his dil due to jodha they thought that only in this manner the war massacre can be reasonably explained ... in typical serial type drama the leads have been separated ... separation is ok but why jalal acted like that ? ...i was reminded of a story in which the hero ,due to an accident of his child , blamed his wife saying that as he had to blame someone due to his misplaced guilt for letting the accident happen he can only blame her coz she ,his wife ,is closest to his heart and not the nearby pedestrians coz they meant nothing to him ...and in that story his guilt persisted for 10 years . is a similiar thing shown here?... .i don't know if 3 years have passed but i believe that whenever a leap is introduced a voice over or a small strip is given to portray it so i am not sure about 3 year leap ... and moreover in a nr timelines can be altered ... keeping very low expectations i am still curious to see what cv's will show now ...it is a serial and not a true account of real incidents in akbar's life and we should not spoil our moods due to the sadist writings by the makers ... . . . coming to the episode , the first scene was very poignant in showing the deepest pain of a father . as usual rajat was splendid ...in the rain scene i think that the one sentence given to jalal was a piece of sadist writing ...it was shocking to hear him say that ...i can't understand why there was the need to place the blame upon jodha ? except to make it more dramatic for some viewers . both were deeply hurt ,whereas jodha was strong and calm jalal was displaying his cruel self ...but jodha was true to her character , she was very strong and not a single word was uttered by her in protest she was guilty herself ...upon herself she could tolerate any blame but when she realized that the war will not place akbar in a good light and innocents will be left to die she had proceeded to voice her protest ...she knew that jalal was angry with her but still she was not defeated ... the soul talk was symbolic to indicate that their souls are still entwined and so we can hope to see a beautiful love story ! ...i liked the way he looked at jodha while discussing with maan singh ...jalal was shattered by his son's loss and his failure to protect them and he had just poured his frustrations upon jodha . i think that only jodha understands him and inspite of her own pain and guilt she was very mature in handling him and sha had not shouted back at him, she had not gone to amer after hussein'd death ... the tilak scene was very good , both displayed their feelings through their expressions and eyes ..., he was excellent in showing ruqu her place ---ruqu can never take jodha's place and he had not embraced ruqu coz of his separation from jodha ...he was slightly jolted to see jodha's blood and a little disoriented afterwards when he had turned back away from jodha and others ...i have hope that still jodha exists in jalal's heart , he may sideline her or blame her but he still loves jodha and jodha has not stopped loving him inspite of his imperfections ...if cv's are a little smart they can show the resurfacing of their love very aesthetically ... let us see how they will proceed in this regard ...
