Three years pass and the story leaps into ugly, miserable territory! - Page 6

Thanks for the post.
Before I put forth any of my views i would first like to say its purely only based on what is shown in reel.
Though there were clear hints right from sujamal track i chose to ignore those naggings in my mind and colored my views with what i wished to see and hence i hold myself responsible for my disappointment.
I have decided henceforth to ff all ruq scenes ,if she comes in some time between lead i would consider her non existent and see it and therefore i saw only three scenes yesterday and just want to put my views on those three.

1.The only scene that touched me yesterday was the initial opening scene when jalal was carrying hussain.There was such immense grief in it and no words can describe his grief at that moment. The way he hugged hussain tugged a deep chord in me and made me too feel his pain.

2. The rain scene between jalal and jo was the most poignant scene. I completely understand with what all has putforth in defence of this scene. I too accept his extreme guilt on the demise of his children and his incapacity to stop it even being a shehnshah is a driving factor in all happened yesterday
,But i don't believe he is merely running away from the guilt and hence his reactions to jo. If so the scene could have been played differently .They could have very well shown it as when he come to her he could have said after all the betrayals he had lost his faith in love and god and hence doesn't want to discuss anything further with her and then could have even ignored her salam .It could have made sense then that he is merely running away.
But here as he sees his mohabat as the root cause for the demise of his children,he didn't merely want to run away from it but inflict pain on it as it has on him . Hence his lashing towards jo and also the sword scene.
But the thing he seemed to have failed to understood in his grief is
life had even been more cruel to Jo.
She is a mother who did a supreme sacrifice of even an unborn child and hence lost a child even before it is born. She lost the only child she had and to then get to hold hussain only to lose him also tragically. She also felt guilt that she should have been with hussain,yet couldn't bear to see her husbands grief and went to console him putting hers aside . and this is what love is all about to
"Put your grief aside and try to take the pain of the one you love" .Jalal did this once on hasans death .But what changed now? I think two reasons for it.

i) "All actions and reactions of humans need not be justified" and i think this is cvs way of bringing
Justification to the war .

ii). Jalals character right from the beginning have been etched in a way that he becomes extremely cruel when he feels some cruelty is inflicted upon him and he become way more magnanimous when he see someone helps him or if he understood he has been wrong. This we have seen in many instances with jo and even she mentioned it as she didn't understand y he puts her in a pedastal sometime and then put down her off .

The only question comes, Why this is only more frequently seen with jo and he seem to have forgiven nigar ,ruq,sharif etc.. and the only reason i could see is Jo's mohabbat is like a positive light that binds him when something dark happens and with her help he seems to overcome this nature at times,but when the problem comes with him and jo there is nothing to bind him and hence the treatment.

When jo went to amer for healing i wished she took time and when she come ,she should come back with a complete understanding of this basic character of him ,Though her love binds this too is an integral part of him .Even in atifa track, though he said it was all an act for others , i still believe
that extreme level of confrontation arised from this basic character (he felt he was let down by her publicly on kybs issue).This is in no way i say he doesn't love her but i do say this instinct is his weakness and it always remains there . Jo knew this and love him despite that as
"Love is not merely accepting one's strength but also his weakness" and take them as how they are.
This is the reason she was understandable in atifa and even yesterday and i appreciate her for the enormous courage and strength of love she had displayed.


3. The sword scene is again a reiteration of what i had stated above.I couldn't enjoy this as it once again reminded me of the day when he went to war against suganya fiancee.That day too he was severely hurt at the loss of his unborn children and want to inflict pain on her .

mansi brilliant post ..and i really liked yesterday inspite of the depressing track...i honestly enjoy these periods of trials and tribulations ..and am actually happy that inspite of her NR she did not show jodha in some other house name changed raising a kid and working as governess after the leap 😆 and the guardian of the kids she works for falls hook line sinker for her 😆

Mansi I feel cheated and got betrayed yday as a viewer for adoring this love story til now... Leave abt it's epicness its not even ordinary love story where lovers stick to each other thru thick n thin not blaming each other... I hv vented out enuf yday n today I got shocking news from my frz that three years leap took place yday ... JJ don't even talk in these three years so it's finally evil won over good as ruk succeeded in seperating JJ for three years which she wanted... Cvs confirmed three year leap it seems and may b soon we get two years kid Salim track as auditions were gng on...just now saw Salima begin with cute kid of two or three years... I guess he is Salim so track got strtd... And this cv also mentioned that til diwali JJ wil b seperated... Mansi wen ruk is the one with whom jalal dimt talk for years for some reason n here they made NR n showed Jallu blaming her (heart breaking ) and JJ dint talk for these three years... Their love dint even last for one year... Cursing cvs lik hell

the fact that jodha stood in silence and gulped in everything jalal said and yet stood by him without a word of defence or a thought of self pity ...does that not show she understood where he is coming from and right now for her ..his pain is more than her own wounds... people say she has no option but to suffer..really??? this is the girl who chose to end ehr life than be unwanted...this is the girl who walked out of Agra and Amer when asked to and her character questioned..this is the girl who inspite of being pregnant still decided to walk out of Agra when her husband decided to divorce her in papita track...so if she had felt her self respect hurt would she have stayed back trying to reach out??

a relationship is not a bed of roses and perfect actions and morally correct reactions...a relationship is made up of ups and downs ,wrongs and rights ,black and white ,yes and no ...that makes it real...if jalal and jodha were so in sync with each other then that would have been unreal...and jalal jodha are not unreal they are as real as you and me...and so is their good and bad...he is hurting and she is hurting ...he lashes out and she stays silent...they both lost,they both broke and they both suffer...one cannot be more than other...and if they do not stumble and err ,they would never learn and instill in them a faith so strong that faces and resists the strongest of the misfortune..and their lives were filled with them ..hence let them fail,let them fall so that they can rise and find the path to each other and to their faith in the God who brought them together...let jalal lash out ...because he has to fall down before his Almighty as there in lies his answers ...he ahs to find the way back into jodha's arms so that she can take him in her embrace and cocoon her against all pain ...coz there in lies his peace and love...

as i had said in atifa track...that if atifa had seen the real jalal she would have run miles away as fast as she could...coz only a jodha can love the Jalal and only a Jalal can love the jodha...

there was a beautiful line from the show dhoop kinare...when the protagonist started hating the heroine and his friend another ruqaiyya taunted her about it...she told her with firmness that ...if she had kept his love with all respect in her heart then she will ensure that she treats his hatred with the same amount of respect ...(it sounds much better in urdu)

hence be patient and support them in their dire times ...a love story cannot be epic if it is not beaten bruised and bled yet it has the courage to walk on towards the destination ...

i actually liked the episode and am enjoying this phase of angst...all relationships go through constant test of fire and only the truth prevails in the ned rest all burn down ...

as for whether leap occured or not ..why banging our heads..we would know about it in show itself..given BB's daughter should be around 4 if 3 year leap occurred..and javida's child should be around 2-3 yr old...

its lovely 👏 phew... people all want see is bed of roses story n funny thing is when they get served wid it they find it boring and in absense they keep demanding for it 😆 . I m kinda happy cvs took this way rather showing Salim n anarkali. we can again feel that spark between jalal n jodha. its definatly not a blame game track but ones u need to open ur eyes to see it. ab ankhe band krke bolte rahoge "how can jalal blame jodha ..." then no can help it na !

Sun yeah u may b true that either its bb or javeda kid as both wil b in same age... Aftr yday episode I Dnt knw wat to say... And this cv on Twitter boils blood with his tweets...
