@sunara - What I was saying is that dance forms like Bharatnatyam, kathak, mujra, mohiniattam, tandav etc are made in India.

no I think they did knew abt Independence day and the whole agenda behind made in India theme was tht but they agn were not able to explain it well.. They were not able to emphasis on tht.. All knew it would be shown on independence day and day after and it is common sense baki colors is mad thts true

The choreos were the ones to pick the song and act.. even BW week i think they picked the song - only superstar was given by the Colors bunch..

And as I was telling choreos simply picked what would give them best marks if they put it together that way and went ahead with it and didn't consider anything else.. so they simply used the loose definition of the theme given and interpreted in their own way..

@red - and anyway I think I get what u r telling and agree with it to the most part.. and I will stop trying to discuss it here.. :)

colours is mad , that's for sure .If they knew ...then I don't get all this to be truthful. It's like kua khodo aur gir jao usmein then .Couldn't they guess how will people react if they will give trubute to our country with such good songs .God ...I am tired of it .

Thank you very much for understanding what I was trying to explain instead of willfully trying to act as if one doesn't get it!

i mean come on if the choreos were given explicit instructions on Independence day theme they would never have gone against it!! They r not gonna to jeopardize their performance and scores like that!
They stuck to what they were instructed on 5th or 6th August. They decide on concept n start working on it the very next day..
And actually performed on 12th and 13th Aug..

Colors is simply a business. they will do what is most beneficial to them in terms of viewership..

Yes is it not look odd doing mujra on patriotic songs?? n mujra songs r besicaly a type of item song so rather i will say doing mujra on baby doll is an intresting concept.
