@sunara - What I was saying is that dance forms like Bharatnatyam, kathak, mujra, mohiniattam, tandav etc are made in India.
So do Vivian, Scarlett and Subreet's concepts do because Vivian is giving tribute to Indian heritage, Scar to Mary Kom and Subreet to Indian National Bird Peacock.
But Bollywood doesn't fall among the above mentioned. It is not a PURE dance form. Neither does it give any tribute to anything Indian. Bollywood is a mixture of all dance forms whether Indian or international.
You do a strict traditional dance of India, you give tribute to India. You do an international dance form while representing Indian heritage, it is a tribute too. But you do something vague as Bollywood which is a mixture of every thing, you make a khichdi of everything. Rest I will wait and see if he did a strict Bhohpuri dance or just Bollywood.
P.S. People who are saying Contemporary is easy and doesn't require much effort, I would just request you to come out of the bubble of your blind fandom and try it once. You'll get to know how it is 😆 I am trained in Bharatnatyam and Manipuri but could never do Contemporary 😆 IT WAS just too difficult.
