I think the cha wanted the theme as in how India is perceived in so many ways...how it's u ite with even so much differences...I think it's all about the journey of India...from past to present scenario...India a country which has all...u ask it and u get...the epic lovers,the epic culture,the youth culture of India.. the illiterates,the villagers the streetlife,the educated youth, and so much more...I have read this whole thread...And am commenting now...well I agree to many and disagree to many...but my view regarding the cvs theme is what I said above...

Okay so not to offend anyone but as some poeple said that Mujra on baby doll is an isult then what about bharatnatyam on Chamak Challo😊

It's all about your own perspective, Hrideyy ... I personally don't like ANY 'item songs' at all, I don't like the concept, I feel they cheapen women ... I was not happy when I heard the choice of song for Sanaya's act this week. For me, Baby Doll and Chammak Challo are in the same bracket. But I watched the tech rehearsal, and it's actually all in the presentation. You can perform a tacky song and make it look beautiful, and you can perform a beautiful song and make it look tacky, and both songs come into the former category for this week's jdj. There are so many songs I haven't liked simply because they were presented badly, and I love them when I hear them without the visuals, or with different visuals.

This thread sure skyrocketed.
No one can say now that this forum is dull 😉.
This was never about targeting the contestants-in fact for me Sanaya's charm is the saving grace of her act.
I still find the song inappropriate and ditto for chammak challo but that is a personal preference and could just be me being a conservative stick in the mud.
For me Indian dance form is something like Raftaar's act in the sneak peak- not his fan but am absolutely blown away by the sheer theatrics and spectacle of his dance.
