Ok first of all im feeling really happy to see the tree huggies are still around although i miss siddhi alot!-and thx hippie!!-i lowe u and definitely missed u loadz!🤗..

..thirdly, i feel a positive to take out of this and the general opinion of all who replied is that-who are we to criticise others?-im not saying that commenting on an actor shud be totally banned as when its done in jest it actually adds to the fun of the forum-but lets keep it reasonable ppl-commenting constantly about someones smile for example-something they cant change unless they have major surgery😛 is totally useless..

But,Mona harbours bollywood dreams..so ,in certain ways there's nothing wrong in comparing her with the actresses there.... ..Afterall,she's now not competing with the shwethas and the smrithis......she's a bollywood wannabe right,so would be compared with peeople there 😛 ...



When certain absolutely ridiculous threads are being made,just to glorify Mona and say how GREAT Her Highness is,what's so inappropriate if one say that she's not all that great..If some dont tire of repeatedly repeatedly glorifying her,what so wrong if someone say that she's not all that great...... 😛



sorry if I sound rude,but the truth is that,you cannot single us(meaning sheen,prattz and me) as "bashers"...If you have forgotton,may I remind you that It wasnt us who made such a big issue out of the "Manda mystery",and it wasnt we alone who scapegoated ss and bashed her for her "insecurity and for barging into JJKN"...yeah,we did revolt a bit,but it wasnt us who made repeated posts to TnD,Apu and others saying that SS should not be allowed..Yeah,I might have joined in,but it wasnt solely me..So,if We can be called all names,its just fair that the others who have bashed,and continue to make digs at certain actors also need to be called those very colourful and pleasant names...fair,isnt it 😛 ..and honestly tell me,Is mona bashed as much as SS was??I'm afraid NOT!...SS was called all sorts of names(I'm very much guilty here,and every Mona fan had absolutely no problems then.)

have I ever said that one HAS to be thin to look beautiful...Find a thread where I have said that,I'll eat my hat then..Infact,I did have a discussion with a member at DM who called Priyanka Chopra ethereally beautiful....I genuinely feel that she's plain mediocre looking,but she has a body to die for,a fact that cant be refuted....There was a thread,about whether good looks gives an edge,and I had said that barring the entertainment field(and evern there more importance is given to glamour and the figure) ,its not necessary to be beautiful or thin or fair skinned

To be in Bollywood,as a lead actress,one has to be thin..they dont even have to look beautiful,but they have to be thin(shilpa shetty,priyanka chopra,etc..the thin but not so good looking girls)......That's a requisite..Is it right,Perhaps NO....Can it be helped....I'm afraid NOT....

Are Konkona and nandita the numero uno actresses.....NO...Nandita can be hardly seen,and Konkona's seen only in certain character oriented roles,movies which I'm afraid do not appeal to the masses....are they offered the big banner movies..No..She's considered more of a parallel actor,and she had her mother to launch her,because had it not been for her mother,she wouldnt have come so far..who's mona's godmother/godfather....Bobby Pushkar slammed the door on her face.....

see u get offended when ash is pulled in,if mona can be insulted/degraded bcoz she looks fat or so called "contradiction" based on her articles printed then def many can say that ash is fake based on what they saw off her offscreen/onscreen interviews .In my case I saw her in 60 minutes whcih is aired in ABC in america and I can tell you that I felt that she was fake,her accent was put on and her giggles were over the top fake.

My two cents..Mona wasnt unreasonably bashed,neither was anything untrue said about her..Certain facts were reiterated,and I dont see how that can be called bashing..No one called Mona any names(like how ash was called fake),no one took the fact away that she did JJKn,and was pretty successful to some extent..but when it comes to ber dancing,I'm afraid she wasnt all that great,neither was Mahesh manjrekar all that great that these two got the second and third positions respectively 🤢 ...Infact Pooja bedi looked more graceful than Mona..Again thats ur opinion and choice which is prejudicial to a large extent ,coming to pooja she was indeed graceful but her dance lacked the enthu and the steps were very boring but from her standards she has improved as she was dancing worse that this...Commenting on certain things like "mona's weight in a promo",or mona" dance in a programme" or her "perkiness" wouldnt surely be definied as bashing in my lexicon.....and saying that Mona's not good enough for bollywood too cant be clled "plain bashing".....Mona has contradictd herself various times,and thus when she now says"oh,i loved playing jassi blah blah",its but obvious that some feel that she's yet again contradicting herself..Now,how can that be bashing 😃

i am a great fan of mona, no matter what size she is, what dreams she has or what she does with her life. To me, her acting is what i love and thats what i connect with more than anything.......we have to remember that she is a human being aswell...and that like every normal person she has dreams as well....okay so she wanted to be a bollywood actress....why not? i mean she is in the telly business and the next logical step to move forward is branch out into movies.....its true, i dont believe she should have walked around flauting the fact that she's into a movie, because now bobby just slapped her on the face....but that happens...i guess luck wasnt on her side this time.........

Yes,Bollywood is a Brobdingnagian platform..The money is more,the scope is more,the popularity is more,the reach is more,and the requisities are also more....Every random television actor cannot become a bollywood star....They either need to be supermodels with great looks and great bodies(John Abraham,Bipasha Basu,Deepika Padukone etc) for them to get the breakthroughs😊..Or they must have godfathers or friends who would cast them(like Rani has Aditya Chopra)...All that we're saying is that Mona,sadly does NOT have any of the above requisities..It would be very hard for her...Hell,its so hard for star kids who know in and out of Bollywood,wouldnt it be just more difficult for random actors like Mona???...and,how does the reiteration of this fact become "bashing"😕

Sorry tina,but acting alone doesnt help...How many movies do Konkona and Nandita feature in..I vaguely remember nandita's movies(i guess 1947 Earth is the only one I remember,that too because of Aamir Khan)...and Konkona stars in 1 movie every year...They are great actresses,no doubt,but tey lack the X factor...

Pankaj Kapoor was a better actor than so many(read jeetendra,Dharmendra,Rishi Kapoor etcetera).and even today,he's known as a great actor..But,is he more popular or richer than the Dharmendras??sadly no.....Rishi Kapoor has more movies to his CV than Pankaj Kapoor has..Rishi Kapoor was a commercially saleable star,so was dharmendra....

I'm sorry tina,I know I'm younger than you,but here I feel that its not me who is making some juvenile comments....Looks,Personality etc do matter,perhaps more than the acting prowess...Aishwarya Rai is yet surviving,so is Priety,so is Bipasha,so is Celina Jaitley(who cares if her movies flop,atleast she churns out movie after movie at regular clockwork)..Whereas the Nanditas and the konkonas ,albeit they are better actors than Priety,rani and Ash,havent been even half as successful as Rani and Ash.....Looks matter,so does the chamchagiri(a la rani).....Just because a few pockets of people believe that Mona is a great actress,in par with Smita Patil,she doesnt really become that.....

I want to say that when u grow older ,you wouldnt make statements like these at all and wouldnt bother to bash /insult or degrade other people coz u learn that its very easy to do that but very hard to appreciate and find good in people .sadly,thats not happening with you right now

well tina,I only say certain things when the discussion about Mona's bollywood dreams pop up....See,I'm not the kind of person who sees the world through a rose tinted glass...I'm not that kind(unfortunately)....I dont know Mona personally,so my opinions are based on my sizing her up....

I'm a far cry from being the idealistic person,neither am I diplomatic..I'm not the one who believes that the world is a utopia..I'm a judgmental monkey(see,I bash myself too..if that pleases you lol😆),more of a perfectionist(which thankfully I manage to achieve in every realm of life😊) ,who wouldnt appreciate a person unless that person is 100% on the ball...I do agree that Mona's better than many other television actors(read SS,smrithi irani etc),but she's not good enough for bollywood.....sadly,I didnt find Mona to be a graceful dancer,she was lively and bubly,but not graceful....Being an introvert,who doesnt talk much in real life,I find Mona's perkiness a tad annoying...Thus,its hard for me to be enamoured of her,and I dont see how stating these points,and also the point that she's using her jassi image when needed,and then discarding it when not; really opportunistic......Sometimes,I might be rude,but C'mon that's not always...😊

Finding someone fake is a personal opinion,something which can never be right or wrong,as its a person's perception..But Mona's contradiction is a fact,so is her weight.....Fans choose to overlook facts,which detractors do not..and that doesnt make the detractors "wretches"...I have debated on this issue few months ago,in the thread"arent we hypocrites",where I had clearly mentioned that SS is always bashed,by a certain clique,the same clique cant even stand anything against mona,and the tree huggies proved (albeit not very convincingly),that they are not hypocrites,and everything that Mona has said till date is perfectly fine....

Its all in the perspective tina,and just because my perspective may seem a bit harsh,it doesnt make me someone who bashes for the heck of it😊..I agree,I have been very childish in the past,I have bashed ss for stupid reasons,calles her names,but the mona and bollywood talks arent surely bashing😊

that's just my opinion right,so how does a plain "opinion" become "bashing"😕....It was my geuine opinion,that plus sized women dont really look graceful while dancing,and I did feel the same when i saw mona....So how does that become bashing😕..Tarun Tahiliani recently said that plus sized women look good only in sarees....Now,that was just his opinion,some might agree to it,some might not concur with him..does that make him a basher of plus sized women..I'm afraid NOT!

Well,SS wouldnt be bashed for her physical traits,because she looks fine,she looks her age...Sadly,thats not the case with mona..Just like Mona is never bashed for her clingy nature(which she doesnt posses)

Sorry tina,but acting alone doesnt help...How many movies do Konkona and Nandita feature in.not many; heck how many movies does sanjay suri or rahul bose feature in.I vaguely remember nandita's movies(i guess 1947 Earth is the only one I remember,that too because of Aamir Khan)...and Konkona stars in 1 movie every year...They are great actresses,no doubt,but tey lack the X factor...

Pankaj Kapoor was a better actor than so many(read jeetendra,Dharmendra,Rishi Kapoor etcetera).and even today,he's known as a great actor.he was apparently very good in maqbool.But,is he more popular or richer than the Dharmendras??sadly no.....Rishi Kapoor has more movies to his CV than Pankaj Kapoor has..Rishi Kapoor was a commercially saleable star,so was dharmendra....it is not always about just acting;
