I know I'm going on and on here but Vasant was the type of lover who would put flowers on Gulaal's grave and eventually walk away while Kesar, like Heathcliff would dig up the grave to embrace her remains.
@ur next postKesars characterisation has close similarities with that of HeathCliff's.Actually Mangal from the original novel has nothing to do with Kesar.I think the CV's have done a keen analysis of HeathCliff's character before shaping Kesar's.I doubt ever we get a hero cum anti-hero lead in indian tv and that through a potential actor like Neil.

Oh very well put, Reemz...I haven't actually read Wuthering Heights but I can so picture Kesar doing exactly what you are saying here...Kesar would never be content with just putting flowers on her grave.

What a beautiful analysis and right on the points. Kesar without Gulaal and Gulaal without Kesar while possible and probable is nonetheless unimaginable. They are like two puzzles that fits neatly together, and the show ultimately has always been about this two. Vasant was like a traveller just passing through Gulaals life, memorable but not the destination.
I wonder what that moment will be like and can you imagine Kesu's expression when he realizes that his Gulaal is actually in love with him...???š
