Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and singer Arijit Singh are facing allegations of entering a government college campus in West Bengal late at night without prior permission. The issue surfaced after Ajoy Adhikari, principal of Rani Dhanya Kumari Government College in Jiaganj, Murshidabad, shared a social media post raising concerns over an alleged unauthorised visit by the two celebrities along with several others during early morning hours.
In his now deleted post, the principal claimed that Aamir Khan and Arijit Singh entered the college premises around 1.05 am. He also shared CCTV footage which allegedly showed them arriving on motorcycles with a small group. The visuals, dated February 4, were later circulated by Bengali media outlet Satya Darpan on Facebook. The footage appeared to show individuals getting off their bikes inside the campus area.
According to Ajoy Adhikari’s allegations, the group reportedly used the indoor games hall, played badminton, carried out a shoot, and left the campus around 2.25 am. He questioned why celebrities should be exempt from institutional rules and permissions simply because of their public stature. News18 clarified that the authenticity of the CCTV footage has not been independently verified.

Soon after, the principal removed the videos from his Facebook account and shared another post claiming he was forced to delete them. In the comments section, written in Bengali, Adhikari expressed disappointment over public reactions even after the post was taken down. He criticised people for offering unsolicited opinions and blindly supporting individuals they admire instead of examining the issue ethically.
“Have people completely lost the ability to think and judge from a moral and intellectual standpoint? Except for a handful, most students seem utterly unconcerned about the institution’s dignity and its social and constitutional rights,” he wrote. He concluded by stating that he felt utterly defeated, as though he had failed completely. As of now, neither Aamir Khan nor Arijit Singh has responded publicly to the allegations.
Separately, Aamir Khan was recently in West Bengal to visit Arijit Singh at his residence in Jiaganj. On Sunday, the actor arrived in Kolkata and attempted to avoid paparazzi but was seen smiling and waving. Photographs later showed Aamir flying a kite on the rooftop of Arijit’s house.
