Kriti Sanon returned to the runway as Manish Malhotra’s showstopper at Dubai Fashion Week 2026, marking one of the closing moments of the event. Her appearance stood out not only as a fashion statement but also as a continuation of a long professional association between the actor and the designer, built steadily over the years.

This was not Sanon’s first collaboration with Malhotra on an international runway. Having previously walked for him at Dubai Fashion Week 2025, her presence in 2026 felt like a natural extension of that partnership. The actor has often relied on Malhotra for key red carpet appearances, and their bond extends beyond work commitments.

Over the years, Malhotra has been closely associated with Sanon’s personal milestones as well. At her sister Nupur Sanon’s wedding, the entire family chose to wear the designer’s creations, reflecting a level of trust that goes beyond routine styling collaborations. As the fashion week concluded on February 6, Sanon’s final walk quickly became one of the most discussed moments online. Videos from the show circulated widely, drawing attention to her poised walk and the detailing of the ensemble rather than spectacle alone.

For the runway, Sanon wore a white skirt and blouse, paired with a sheer dupatta that added movement to the look. The music track Ramba Ho Ho Ho played in the background as she walked. Malhotra’s wider showcase, titled The Indian Story Inaya 2026, focused on Indian craftsmanship. Brocades, sequins and heavily worked silhouettes dominated the collection, designed with festive and formal occasions in mind. Jewellery played a prominent role throughout.
