Is border 2 really the kind of success its being made to be?

275cr budget and the movie just crossed its budget on 3rd friday by collecting 3cr on 3rd friday. Lifetime looks arnd 300cr. The way its success is being hyped is as if it crossed 500cr in India and has emerged another Gadar. In fact even WW gross does not look possible to hit 500cr

It is a super hit thanks to the super strong first 5 days otherwise the wom has been less than optimal resulting in a collapse..

These days every film is called success, unless its Ultra disaster

Movie ke level ke according it's a good collection. Without the nostalgia of the first movie it would've finished under 60 crs

It certainly doesn’t have the hype and excitement that Gadar2 had for weeks, and certainly not what Dhurandhar was/is doing. It definitely underperformed on opening day, did good for the next two or three days after, and then it just lost it, for lack of a better word. It’s probably not a flop but is it really a hit? I’m sure all the PR teams are declaring it blockbuster now and then in a year or so the truth comes out and it’s an average at best.
