Also can I add that India Forum is not one of the main places children can be exposed to "explicit content"

Youtube has tonnes of "explicit" videos...that is surely worse!!!

And as far as I know, most of the members here are NOT children

So why does a small minority win??

This should really be a parent's responsibility to watch out on what their children are doing!!!

I'm really pissed off and I don't even write OS/ SS/ FFs so I can't even imagine how the writers who write such beautifully feel about this!

Cmon.. this is really ridiculous . How is it not wrong when they show the leads getting wet in Rain, hugging, kissing each other, showing bare backs all of that on National Television . And it is a crime when the same scenes are put down in words...
Grow up people. For a romantic serial we expect romantic FF's and not Amar Chitra Katha...

Why do you think the readers are in tears while reading PANDORA's Box FF?? Do you think its because of the love making scenes or the intense and emotional story there...

Dear IF Development Team,

I haven't read any of the replies to this request, so pardon me if I am being repetitive.

As far as your request goes, do you think it is going to work? Like really? And before you answer that question, tell us honestly, have you not enjoyed such posts?

When a story is planned, inclusion of intimacies is natural. An author cannot skip it if the story calls for it. A lot of times, even in movies, such scenes often bring a new dimension to the story. And an author has all rights to describe it the way they have envisioned. The author is merely posting it keeping mature audience in mind. It is not for them to worry about young children reading such stuff. If that was the case, no book would be published, no movie would be released and half the theaters would not be running.

Let's face it. SEX sells! And if you don't believe that, we can pull some stats.

IF is meant to be a creative center, where talent should be recognized and appreciated. Why is it acting like a baby-sitter? Why are 9 year olds even being allowed on IF? Do you have any control on that? If not, then why are you trying to control the stories? IF is meant to be an open forum, let it remain open. Don't try to control it because you have no control over who joins the website.

Go on youtube, there are tons of adult videos there. Can they really prevent kids from seeing those videos? Anyone can come up with a false account and age and get access those videos. There is only so much you can do, you know!

Also if I may add, if we write keeping 9 year olds in mind, then we are probably writing about brother-sister relationships, right? Perhaps elaborating on raksha bandhan? or other festivals? Or maybe how to ride a bicycle and how to treat other people and be nice to your parents?

Clearly, sex, relationships, complexities in relationships are not encouraged for 9 year olds. So what's left?

What an excellent, excellent point. If a MOD can explain that away rationally, I'll be seriously impressed.

And, really? Telling the writer to leave if they don't like it? Do the mods realize that when they do that, they are in essence telling all the READERS to leave with the writer? With as many as 200 and more readers per FF, do the MODs really want to go down that path? Seriously?

I am extremly disappointed
Pandora's box is the most beautifully and tastefully written FF. please do not insult the writer (Minimuffin) and us (reader) by labeling such a wonderful story as "vulgar"

Can you guys make a poll and find out the statistics/age group of the readers/FF forum members? I'm sure MOST of us are 18 or above 18 and if so then maybe you could limit this specific forum to that age group and everyone above it. That way Mods and writers both are sort of 'at peace'

Can you guys do that??

Being back Pandora's Box!!!! As you can see by now it is not vulgar at all! It depicts the journey of such polar opposite characters who have come together in the most beautiful way. We cannot begin to censor LOVE MAKING scenes, because that's what they are LOVE MAKING not vulgarity!!! READ THE FF BEFORE YOU SEND LUDICROUS VULGARITY WARNINGS!!!!!

You will find that the majority of us regardless of age seem to have choice. Why can we not simply have a rating system or only member over a certain age have access to certain contents. This is simply discouraging which you probably want but to trample all over someone's work and label it as vulgar is not on. Maybe you should go back and read Pandora's Box and you will find otherwise. There is more words other than vulgar and probaby opposite words and how can you not add natural emotions and action in stories which are meant to depict reality?

I can't believe this! This is nothing but showing the immaturity of people! Mature and realistic story themes and plots make it all the more best in reading.

There are tons of videos on YOUTUBE that kids can go and watch! There are tons of po*n sites kids visit! India-Forums is an open forum and putting an end to stories like PANDORA's BOX is nothing more than an insult to the forum itself too!

Almost 99% of us have been exposed to explicit or sexual content while studying biology! If they really want control, control who is joining the forums. Can't they keep control over what age group can join this forum!
