(1yr later i.e. Present- It seems to everyone that Raghav has gotten over the incident. He is laughing and joking again now, but has not dated anyone else. No one apart from Kalpi can see the pain he still has in his eyes, but even Kalpi doesn't have a clue about his intentions. Even Kalpi is still haunted by the memories of Pakhi, and out of guilt, still has the feeling that Raghav hasn't forgiven her. They still keep meeting on the beach...)

Kalpi caught Raghav strangely staring at her. Her baffled expression made Raghav burst into laughter.

"What?"

"Just... I sometimes wonder... had those college bimbos got it right? I mean, you never even talk to any other guy, let alone date..." Raghav's words faltered seeing her expression.

Kalpi gave an exasperated sigh, "I don't talk to anyone because I don't like to, and I don't date because I don't love anyone... Aaand for the last time, this is not at all about you."

"You know I was joking..."

"And you know I don't like such jokes." Kalpi said firmly. "Anyways, it's getting late, I should leave." Saying so, she went off. Raghav glanced at the clock - it was barely 6 pm.

At first, Raghav used to get surprised at such outbursts, but knowing he won't get the reason, he let it rest. Kalpi, actually, hid her inner emotions beneath the sudden anger, to prevent a breakdown every time they went anywhere near the topic. Raghav had learnt to balance and organise his emotions to be able to act, but Kalpi couldn't control hers for much long. She adopted the mode of fake anger to cover up.

In reality, it had become easier for Raghav to be himself' around Kalpi. He got confused about that but couldn't accept that he was back to feeling friendly around her. He, for peace of his mind, passed it off as improvement in acting'.

With that, he had only one pressing worry - Kalpi did not date anyone.

He wanted Kalpi to feel the same amount of pain she had given him and Pakhi. When she falls in love with someone and they get as attached as he and Pakhi were, he'll be the one to secretly create big huge problems for them. He'll create mistrust in her relationship like she had created in his, to the point when Kalpi's relationship will fall apart, and then, he'll also abandon her so that she's left all alone - loveless and friendless. He knew it'll take time, but he didn't care.

But no matter how much he wanted it to happen, the idea had never been welcoming to him. He never felt happiness imagining Kalpi in that condition.

Look at yourself Raghav,' he kept thinking to himself, She betrayed you, broke you to this extent, and you're still feeling bad for her like a friend. That's beyond the limit, Raghav, she has lied to you always, she doesn't care about you at all... And it's about time you stop caring about her...'

A few days later, Kalpi gave him the news he had been desperately waiting for...
