Amazing! Raghav have feelings for Kalpi and he wants to destroy her! Will he be protective of her?! Does he care enough to protect her from prem or himself!

Part 6

Everything was going according to Raghav's plan. He had seen them both together, and, ignoring the pangs of jealousy Raghav had had, the situation was going quite smoothly. Prem and Kalpi were quite comfortable around each other, especially Kalpi, Raghav had noticed. It seemed to be true that she loved Prem since a long time ago. Maybe that was the reason for her weird behaviour whenever they talked about her dating someone. Raghav decided that this was the time to drop the bomb. He tried hard not to admit that this hurry was not only for the revenge, but also to keep Kalpi and Prem apart. He still couldn't fathom why he was feeling like this for her. Till now, he had never had such feelings for anybody.

He had decided to carry out the first step today itself. He had offered to drop Kalpi at the caf, as Prem wouldn't be able to pick her up. Kalpi could never say no to him.

In the evening, he drove her to the caf, and waited with her for Prem, who seemed to be getting a bit late. The two ordered coffee and kept chatting until Prem arrived.

Prem was shocked to find Raghav there.

"Raghav Singhania, what a surprise! May I know what you are doing here with my girlfriend?" Prem was working hard to keep calm. Not only was Raghav his business rival, but he was also the person for whom his sister died.

Kalpana tried to cool the building tension. "Er...Prem, Raghav is my friend, he dropped me today, and as you were getting late -"

"Really Kalpi, now you have to explain yourself to him? Come on... and saying that we're friends is an understatement, we've been best friends since childhood. Really, if you're so afraid of him, why the hell are you dating him? And you" He turned to Prem, "She's my friend before being your girlfriend. So please, stop bugging her, and me too, with your silly anger." To Prem's fury, he hugged Kalpi and said "I'll see you later" he got up to leave, then added in an undertone "If this chimpanzee bothers you, feel free to tell me. I wouldn't regret breaking his nose." And enjoyed the effect.

Prem was boiling with anger, about to burst, and Kalpi was stuck between laughter and frustration at his comment. He then left with a crooked smile. If truth was to be told, he was more happy due to Prem's annoyance than the success of the plan. He had ruined their date, and that was what elated him.

Raghav kept increasing Prem's insecurities - hugging Kalpi in front of him, passing comments against him, which made Kalpi laugh (somehow), and constantly reminding that Kalpi still values Raghav more than Prem. He knew that Prem will doubt her, and slowly the mistrust will distort their relationship. And when that happens, Kalpi will remember what she had done a year ago and regret it.

Raghav decided that the time had come for the final blow.

He decided to call Kalpi at the beach at 4:30 to meet him, but 'accidentally' sent the SMS to Prem as well.

Everything went according to his plan, Prem was coming (he had set a spy on him), and so was Kalpi. Raghav reached the beach half an hour before the planned time, to go over the plan and prepare himself.

Kalpi reached the beach a few minutes after 4:30. Now just Prem was left.

Raghav kept talking to Kalpi as usual, checking around for Prem's arrival. Suddenly, he saw Prem parking his car. This is it, he thought, and proceeded. He gripped Kalpi and went close to her, and forcibly kissed her. At first he was acting, but then lost himself to his emotions. He couldn't stop, he couldn't let go of her, he didn't care about any stupid plan anymore. Kalpi was initially resisting him, but surprisingly gave in and reciprocated. They couldn't understand what had come over them.

They were oblivious to the furious spectator glaring at them. They became conscious only when Prem clapped his hands in mock applause. They turned to look at him, Kalpi was horrified, Raghav, back in his senses, was smiling in a victorious way.

"So" Prem started with a mock smile, "So my sister wasn't so stupid after all..."

"No, Prem, she wasn't stupid... she was right in her circumstances..." Raghav said, his smile disappearing.

Kalpi was standing immobile, utterly confused at the conversation. She tried to clear the air

"Prem, its nothing like that, it was all a misunderstanding -"

"Really Kalpana, you expect me to buy that? I saw you kissing him! And just shut up!" He pushed Kalpi and she fell down. Anger built up inside Raghav and he threw a punch at Prem, breaking his nose. Kalpana's slight smile at this action went unnoticed by both. Prem was furious. He yelled at Kalpi

"You b**ch! How dare you even think of doing this? First my sister, now me! You'll pay, Kalpana Jadav, mark my words! And you too!" Throwing one last glare at Raghav, he left.

Raghav cooled down and went back to his plan.

A shattered Kalpi looked up at him for support, but he was back in form for the last piece of the act. He smiled an evil smile, not suiting him at all, and said, "Well, Kalpana, now your time's up. You've already enjoyed more than your share of happiness. Now its time for grief and pain for you, Kalpana Jadav. Enjoy the result of your deeds Kalpi. Now you'll be just like me and Pakhi. Alone. Loveless. Friendless."

Saying so, he left the girl standing at the beach, heartbroken.

Once out of his sight, Kalpi's visage held a smile again. A broken, sad smile.

Oh noo!! Poor kalpi!!
