Nowadays in the 1-2 scenes that they r together, they seem to be so lost from each other! They dont even "look" at each other!

You bet since the battalion brigade entered, there is no Qualis, where is the Qualis? More than the bureau it is there where those discussions took place, plans were made, had good natured leg pulling, casual conversations, super chases, team bonding. So many cases have been resolved in it. It was not just a car; it was so much more than that. In Saturdays case there gave us Daya-Abhi in one frame for a second, where they did not even look at each other. They possibly blessed us with that one shot so that we can frame it I guess. I wish we could drill some brains in these people.

What kind of rubbish is shown to us? They look like Aahat rejects to me. All stories rejected by Aahat are being used here. Imagine CID Fans are crying and Singh Saab is busy directing Aahat.

Singh Saab WE NEED YOUR ATTENTION. Why have you disassociated yourself with CID, comeback Sir for us we need you desperately.

the problem that irritates us more is the bad performance of new recruits.i dont know how many tme they need to be the part of team.the show cid is not mechanical.we watch our show not with our brains, but by our heart.it is useless if the recruits cant digest the spirit of show.this is not a daily soap for them to do whatever they like.cid have a history of good performers.some of them are now killing the show with bad acting.bad performers should improve themselves or as a sudden effect the creators have to use some shock absorbent.a new recruit do not know the way to talk to people.directors are doing nothing to change...if this man continue this behaviour through out the biweekly cid is going to follow a teriffic disaster in the future.

Even their small naughty or meaningful looks make a lot of difference! 😭

It's been like this for quite some time actually. One instance was that epiosde where the light falls on an actress or something - in Dec 09. The entire episode was such that Daya and Abhijeet didn't have a single scene together. I did mention this when I was a newbie here and another newbie then (who is now a dazzler) gave me a piece of her mind.

I have heard at that time Satam Sir was busy with his other commitments and his schedule had to be matched with others. So they would keep one from the duo with ACP and the other would lead the junior team. But still the chemistry was not lost like it is now. Infact now there is Zero Bonding in this Batallion Brigade

Whoever is the writer - s/he is also facing problems allocating tasks to each team member. So, they are probably writing the stories and giving dialogues like this -

Cop 1 : Laash mili hai

Cop 2 : Pata karo kisne phone ki hai

Cop3 : Sir yeh dekhiye kya mila

And then depending on who is present for the shoot at that particular location, they allocate the dialogues. The stories after the bi-weekly started are definitely not written keeping our characters in mind. That's the reason Sachin is getting more dialogues - because he is present in more than one location as HP probably shoots regularly.

And that's probably another reason Daya is not like 'The Daya' these days...the dialogues are not written keeping the character of Daya in mind.
They cannot write cute Qualis scenes keeping our duo in mind, as they don't know whether they both will be available on the same day at the same time and location.

Maybe this is the right thread for this discussion.
When we write stories here on this forum, we are not bound by availability of actors or the nonsensical bi-weekly stuff.
I am not even sure if our actors have a hang of what story they are shooting. They must be utterly confused. Like that stupid CID on Fire, where Daya was popping in to and out of thin air. I don't think he has an iota of idea of what Abhijeet was doing or what was happening in the bureau.

I am pretty sure, they have no idea of the story. They just their own scenes at max.
@Shagnika what impression did you get when you were on the set?

From what I read about the 3 girls experiences, esp the fact that Aditya and Daya were taking a paper and reading out the dialogue in different ways and this is how the dubbing was done. I don't think they know ANYTHING about what's happening.
The director probably tells them the scene on the spot. And who has the time to read so many stories? Do you think these people do so much of advance planning? I doubt it. Most probably the writer is sitting and writing just before the actors arrive.

may be daya dont know who's murder he is investigating now.look at khali khabar, daya never saw what happend in first half and he is the one who follows the bird voice.in many case daya drops from no where in between and vamish with the same speed.by that time he try to hit, drive and break doors.

when we went at the sets.... i remember, i had this thought in my mind. I saw Adi sir was fully confused initially about who is dying and who is attacked...where is the killer, when did the man die..etc etc..😆😆 the assistant director and the director was trying to clarify him the doubts .... and finally Adi sir got hang of it. Even Satam sir was listening to the clarification patiently and he got the idea.... It was seriously soo confusing.

See, its quite impossible to keep a track of the stories while shooting 2 stories simultaneously that too in a completely NO ORDER format. That too with stories like the ones these days which has hardly any plots...😕😕

After CID UNDER FIRE, i heard that some of the actors were unhappy with the episode when they saw it.. they got very pissed off.. NOW, thats what i meant. they saw the episode n realised how bad it was. uske pehle they just shot it without having a complete idea what the story is about.

Wonderful. So when is the creative team planning to see the rubbish they have been exposing us too. I am sure they with be pissed by their own disastrous creation. I feel miserable for our actors yaar, such talented people are being made to do the most absurd things on screen
