Before I start (I know its long) let me clarify, what seems bashing and harsh at times comes from concern and ultimately love for the show else we have no personal vendetta against anyone. We are constantly mocked at for going crazy over a TV show, considered even stupider for getting worried for it. Our parents tell us to grow up, behave our age. Our Siblings and Friends make fun of us and more about the show. We go defending it. So many of us are working people, some in collage, we have enough things to keep us busy but still we come back here every day because CID makes us happy. It's been part of like half our lives.
We talk about FW using its brains and taking the right decisions. Does that mean we hate them? No, we understand what difficulty they are facing. How can we hate a Production house which gave us our all time favorite show? We know our actors are working double shifts. Sometimes they are under water for 6 hours, sometimes up all night shooting. We know, it's difficult. People have seen our dislike for Sachin, does that mean we hate HP? No, no way. Why will we? We know he is working equally hard. Some people from the forum have met him and have only good things to say about him as a person. But when he is Sachin, most of us are not able to accept this new character and even more his over-exposure. The thought of disrespecting Singh Saab can never even cross our minds. We are all indebted to him. We love him and respect him even more. We just keep calling out to him to come back. It's been months since he directed CID.
We also realise that CID can't be what it used to be once upon a time, simply because we do not have the same people behind the scenes. We understand there are pressures, deadlines to meet and other difficulties; we are not stupid impractical fans. We have a decent level of intelligence too but when a fan speaks, it's mostly from the heart.

The bi-weekly system has been hastily and unevenly organized from the start and it's truly painful to see the efforts of the actors be underwhelmed because of a poor plot, and often screenplay. If you see the episode threads, you'll see there has been a constructive analysis of every episode as soon as it's aired (everything from the acting to technical details), yet for every good episode there seem to be ten mediocre ones.
I totally agree with @DemonStar. It can be clearly seen that the bi-weekly system has not been planned properly, not much thought has gone into it. Every production house needs to understand their audience and should know the reasons why their particular show is liked. However FW and SONY have not given this aspect much thought. The promo when the Bi-Weekly started boasted about "Double Dose" but no one gave the thought to - at what cost. At the cost of what is liked in the show? Then what is the use of this double dose to the fans? Today all that we loved about the show is taken away. We are not expecting anything like CSI that is not even on our expectation list but a decent logical and practical flow is not too much to ask for.
It seems like SONY said - 'FIREWORKS we want CID twice a week'. Bang FW went and got 3 new people on board. Boom you suddenly have a Battalion Brigade of 11 people struggling for screen time, work distribution goes for a toss, investigations have no connection, in short a total mess. Did anyone give it a proper thought? Foresight? You suddenly get a new guy bossing over Freddie Sir who has been around for 12 years. It may seem like a silly thing to point out but for Fans, it matters. Did anyone realise why Vivek and Tasha manage to make a place in our hearts? Apart from improving their acts, they came at the end of the hierarchy and when there was a need. These 3 new people have come out of nowhere, for no reason. Since these new entries have come in Freddie Sir, Vivek and Taasha have been reduced to extras. There is nothing exceptional that Sachin and Kajal are doing that could not have been achieved among the three of them. And the worst, absolutely unnecessary entry is Dr Sonali Barwe, none other than Dr Salunkhe's bickering classmate (cringe-worthy). This defies all logic, when we already have 2 people which seemed like too much as it is, why did we need a third expert? A hasty decision without much thought. More than new actors we needed better script writers and directors who could share the work load. It's not just the actors who are over worked, the creative team is equally over worked.
Worse is they did not prepare their audience for this. 4 days before bi-weekly we get to know CID will now come twice a week with a 11 member team. CID is a rare show; it's not like any other Crime Investigation Series. This is about a team, mysteries yet character driven. We never understood why someone like SONY who is always on the OTT Promotion mode, never cared to promote that 'CID Turns Bi-Weekly'.
It is still time to give Bi-Weekly a serious thought and get things in order. If the Bi-Weekly is here to stay, thinking of what can be done to keep all the three parties happy SONY, FW and Fans.
Continue with Bi-Weekly but deal with only one case per week. Show one case in two parts with the original team. This will also give the creative team a breather to develop investigative plots. I don't see why this can't be done. We have already seen that cases like Khoon Ka Raaz Jahaz Mein, Sr. Inspector Abhijit and Manali Murder had a Running Time of 60 minutes each and Airtime of 90 minutes with the original team. So we can have two episodes covering one case of 30 minutes Running Time each. It is observed that Comedy Circus which is aired before CID on Fri-Sat runs till 10:10 PM, which means till 11:00 PM we have 50 minutes. So a CID episode with a running time of 30 Minutes and Airtime of 50 minutes can be created with the original team. This give SONY its bi-weekly, FW Creative Team a breather, lesser work load on the cast and we get our TEAM BACK.
FW please give this a serious thought, discuss it with SONY and tell them fans are suffering. This could be the best way to go forward. Don't pat your backs with initial TRPs, please get you act together before it is too late. If we get our original team back, their bonding back, TRPs will rise further. You will have a happy audience.
