Chaos. Everything is said beautifully by my friends over here. I just want one thing please listen to story think that it makes sense or not then pass this story. It take hardly half an hour to read story synopsis (story plot without dialogues). First show it to few members over there. See whats their reaction you will come to know the truth.

During 2009 bad stories were there but chemistry between caste held us together. Now there is nothing in case about which we can cheer even, leave cheer even discuss.

I am not against Bi-weekly CID telecasts. I am against promoting other shows and films in CID. It should be wipe out from CID.

CID is a crime show not some nonsense daily soaps. If Sony really want to promote the upcoming shows they better try promoting through the daily soaps. Because its daily and people watch it regular.Where CID is an weekly show and people want to see it only excluding promotions or advertisements.

i was really excited when CID started coming biweekly because i thought hey its gonna be twice the entertainment...but the format has backfired...the stories are lacking in actual story and the episodes are a bore

This is precisely the reason why I was never excited about the bi-weekly. I mean who does not want to have a double dose of their fav show but I could foresee this. Even with the weekly format we were struggling for good stories but since we were getting enough of our original team, they would keep us engrossed and we did not feel the pinch that much. With bi-weekly, two cases a week was always going to backfire and we hit rock bottom by adding new people and over-exposing them. In the process we have totally lost the team, the Trio, the duo, everything (O How much I miss the Qualis). Now we do not have team to keep our focus away from weak stories. So all the loopholes and shortcomings in the plots seem to attract our attention more as all that we loved is lost.

Possible Solution

Continue with Bi-Weekly but deal with only one case per week. Show one case in two parts with the original team. This will also give the creative team a breather to develop investigative plots. I don't see why this can't be done. We have already seen that cases like Khoon Ka Raaz Jahaz Mein, Sr. Inspector Abhijit and Manali Murder had a Running Time of 60 minutes each and Airtime of 90 minutes with the original team. So we can have two episodes covering one case of 30 minutes Running Time each. It is observed that Comedy Circus which is aired before CID on Fri-Sat runs till 10:10 PM, which means till 11:00 PM we have 50 minutes. So a CID episode with a running time of 30 Minutes and Airtime of 50 minutes can be created with the original team. This gives SONY its bi-weekly, FW Creative Team a breather, lesser work load on the cast and we get our TEAM BACK.

FW please give this a serious thought and discuss it with SONY

Prabha, really nice posts.
But now I am getting the clear picture. We are considered as only 5%, that's why our criticism is misunderstood. We really love the show (may be more then the rest 95%, sorry if I hurt someone) and that is the reason we are criticizing the recent episodes and if one really wants to improve he has to accept both positive and negative feedback. Please FW, SONY sit together and do something.

Bi weekly is good as long as they retain the gist and depth of the originality of earlier weekly shows. l too agree that the quality has deteriorated after bi-weekly shows.
I hope someone takes our views upto the CID team. Does India-Forum do that by any chance?

We have already tried it once. We had a signature campaign done. The material was read from cast to some people in the CT. Initially we felt we got some amount of success but we are again back to where we were may be even 10 steps behind, thanks to double dose and battalion brigade.
