Colors launches its new upcoming show Udann based on a crucial issue of bonded labor.

TellyBuzz has been constantly reporting about Udann taking Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon's slot. Recently Colors launched its new upcoming show Udann. Child artistSpandan Chaturvedi essaying the role of Chakor will be playing the lead in the show. Kasturi (Sai Deodhar Anand) and Bhuvan (Rajiv Kumar) will be seen as Chakor's parents. The show also consists of other prominent actors like Tasheen Shah as Imli,Prachee Pathak as Rajnandini Singh, Sai Ballal as Kamalnarayan Singh and Suhasini Mulay as Shakuntala Singh.

Elaborating a little more on the tale - Udann is the tale of Chakor, a free-spirited young girl whose existence is pawned by her poverty-stricken helpless family when in her mother's womb. Udann brings to the masses a social issue of bonded labor which is prevalent in most part of India.

Colors as a channel is famous for bringing up shows based on various social issues presents Udann which will soon hit the small screens.

The show is written by Robin Bhatt and Javed Siddiqui and the same is conceptualized by Mahesh Bhatt.

Well, the show through its promos is looking quite promising and something that people can look up to.

Life Ok Now Awards on Star Life Ok

The monthly Life Ok Now Awards on Star Life Ok proved to be disappointing for the channel last night in UK, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.

The event, which aired at 19:00 pulled in just 5,800 viewers - peaking at 16,100 viewers. Other regular shows like Laut Aao Trisha' at 22:00 did remarkbly better with 42,700 viewers, followed by Savdhaan India' with 41,200 viewers.

On Star Plus, Diya Aur Baati Hum' continued to lead with 157,200 viewers, followed by Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' with 138,700 viewers and Veera' in third with 138,700 viewers.

On Colors, Uttaran' led with its biggest ever ratings - 75,400 viewers, followed by Rangrasiya' with 69,400 viewers and Comedy Nights With Kapil - Independence Day Special' at 22:30 with 30,100 viewers.

On Rishtey, Laado' was back on top with 58,800 viewers, followed by Meri Aashiqui' at 20:30 with 49,000 viewers.
