Is it just me who completely loses all her love for children while reading thrillers? 😭😭

They always have the loudest whiniest kids that end up alerting the freaking serial killer smiley7

Why can't they just listen to their moms 😤

I'm always thoroughly irritated with them throughout the novel, and then afterwards I feel bad and mentally apologise to the kid for being so mean 😂🙈

You said ke there are some authors you follow and all their stories are good, isliye I thought you may have some suggestions.smiley36

Do you use webnovel too?

Oh no no, I never rec dark fics, esp when you don't really dabble in fics at all. If you were asking for wholesome works I'd consider it, but for dark I'm keeping my mouth shut, sorry smiley36 All I will say is, ao3 does dark like nowhere else, bcz the authors aren't restricted by the usual rules of tradpubs/stores/platforms so they can just knock themselves out with the craziness.

If you ever fall in love with a fandom and wanna read fics from there, tab poochna, I'll try to give you recs. But if you prefer OG fiction and the novels make you happy, then there's no reason to wanna migrate elsewhere smiley27

Nah, I've heard of webnovel but never used it. My reading is limited to novels, ao3 and the occasional FF.net and tumblr. If I include anything else I'll go crazy smiley37

God, I hated Elena after a point. She was good in the beginning but later it just felt like everything was just me me me for her, it was insufferable 😣 Katherine was selfish too but she was alluring and interesting, on Elena the attitude made her seem whiny and pathetic 🤦‍♀️

I really wish we got more of Katherine smiley27 I liked her with Stefan and I loved that arc they briefly gave her with Elijah (that they forgot about afterwards)

I loved Delena sm during the initial seasons but towards the end after Elena was gone I was happy with Damon and Bonny scenes... they had a very sweet bond smiley42

My favourite was Klaroline though... I still watch their scenes sometime smiley19 even though I'm no longer attached to that show at all, that pair still has such a hold on my heart 🥺❤️

As a parent, I take full offense at this! smiley11

What's with these kids? Do they have no regard for their own safety?

And more so - what's up with these parents? Inko kuch padi nahi hai kya?

I'm far from being a helicopter parent, but I have several ground rules for when my kid is out, topmost being I absolutely need to know where she's going and who she's hanging out with. Her phone needs to be charged at all times, she needs to have backup if it runs out, and I have to have the phone number of at least one more person in her group. And yeah, she has to keep sharing her location.

Upar se, what's with how easily these kids sneak out of their bedrooms at night either through their windows or backdoors? My kid can't do any of these without waking up the whole household and if she tries leaving, my dog will bring down the house with his excited barking. smiley36

Precocious and stupid kids seem to abound in the world of fiction smiley39

Those are nice, sensible rules smiley27 back in school, I used to be the one whose number every parent used to have for checking up on their child smiley36 If I was going, then it meant it was a safe hangout. I loved being the parents' favourite smiley37

Fiction needs mishaps in order to make things interesting, ig that's why the parents either have no control of their child or are just dead/absent. Parents guiding their children well makes it difficult for authors to guide their story smiley37

In TVD, my favourite female character is Bonnie. But I don't dislike Elena. I think she was a kind and compassionate person. But she cheated on Stefan when he was not there. That's not good. In my opinion, that's Elena's only questionable action. But may be it had something to do with the fact that she was a vampire at that time. Probably that's why she felt attracted to Damon's dangerousness immensely. Being a dangerous creature herself, she felt drawn towards Stefan's elder brother because he was much more dangerous than Stefan. In TVD, Damon said that the emotions became heightened and more intense after becoming a vampire. So, her desires became stronger because of that. I'm not justifying cheating. It's just my interpretation. Also, I think vampires, werewolves, monsters, demons don't follow human values. So, they behave differently from human beings.
