When can you get GoF?

It has 38 chapters and 2 epilogues.

Will you be able to get it by June 1st or 2nd?

I'm planning to read this novel too because I really liked the other novel I read by this author - Survive The Night. Have you guys read that one?

It's on my TBR. I have most of her books, but I think STN and Home Before Dark was suggested by some IG user (hence how I got to know about the author)

I think you wrote the word, her by mistake because Riley Sager is a male author. Btw, his real name is Todd Ritter. Riley Sager is his pen name.

I really wanted to buddy-read Stephen King's The Shining with you in June. But I don't think I'll be able to do that because I'll have to read queer books and The Shining consists of more than 500 pages.

Yeah maybe another month would suit me better too. I don’t really read horror so I’ve been putting this off but this one is such a classic so I want to give it a go.

Yes, The Shining is known as an iconic novel. The movie is also very popular. Even though it's a horror novel, you may like it because the book deals with interesting themes such as the danger of alcoholism, destructive nature of dysfunctional family and psychological effects of isolation.

STN has mixed reviews, people either love it or hate it. I liked the twist but im not sure whether you will like it.

I’ve been putting off watching the movie until after I read the book because usually when I watch the movie/series I lose interest and rarely (if ever) go back and read the book. Whereas if I read the book first, I still am interested enough to watch the screen adaptation. Idk why - that’s just the way my brain is wired smiley36
