The actress has been told to shed almost 15 kilos for Aziz Mirza's next film.

Vidya Balan must've looked hard at herself in the mirror after watching her recent release.

Appearing totally out of shape, the actress is all set to shed her extra fat for her new role in Aziz Mirza's film.

According to a unit member from Mirza's film, "Vidya has been asked to lose at least 15 kilos before she starts shooting for this film. Although the film is a love story between a young boy and an older woman, the actress needs to look better than the way she is appearing these days."

It is learnt that Vidya Balan has begun working out so that she looks perfectly in shape before starting the film, "Shahid as it is looks like a kid in front of her.

She is older to him but they cannot afford to have this glaring difference in their ages," says an industry source. "Vidya has a pretty face and is a promising actress. All she needs to do is keep herself fit like most of today's actresses do," adds the source.

Thanks, she looks fab, what is with the fixation with size zero figures! Oh well, why bother fighting against it, its become the norm now, if a women's bones are not protruding out then they are not considered sexy or attractive! 😕 What happened to the days of voluptuous women.

bollywood thinks if ur fair n skinny as a stick then ur sexy. n sumtimes it makes ppl feel bad. so i think ppl in bollywood shud b ppl of color n shape!

i agree..

i think Vidya luks perfectly fine the way she is!....maybe she has to shed sum more fat because shes going to be paired with Shahid, who has that small boyish look!

Dude she looks fine to me! Atleast there is one actress who is not all sticks! And she didn't need to look skinny to act good, she has done perfectly so far! 15 Kilos is a lot of weight to lose 😕

Then maybe they should have changed Shahid, the boy is too baby-faced. He looks too young for most of the hot n happening female actors. I dont see the directors telling Shahid to change, maybe grow some stubble to look more mature but nah its always the women that has the flaws. If they feel Vidya needs to tone up to maintain a certain image for the role, then fine but they shouldn't pressure her to become too skinny coz there is no pleasing anyone. Take the example of Kareena, when she was curvacious, the media were saying she needs to tone up, now she is skinny, they are telling her to eat!

i agree,she needs 2 lose weight..its her advantage dat she acts well but she cant be soo clumsy...jst keepin in mind dat acting gud doesnt require a gud figure is inappropriate..actresses need 2 look gud n ve a gud figue...she shuld atleast look normal if not skinny..dese days shez jst too overweight...
