Then maybe they should have changed Shahid, the boy is too baby-faced. He looks too young for most of the hot n happening female actors. I dont see the directors telling Shahid to change, maybe grow some stubble to look more mature but nah its always the women that has the flaws. If they feel Vidya needs to tone up to maintain a certain image for the role, then fine but they shouldn't pressure her to become too skinny coz there is no pleasing anyone. Take the example of Kareena, when she was curvacious, the media were saying she needs to tone up, now she is skinny, they are telling her to eat!
Quite right...Vidya looks gorgeous the way she is...As it is,there is no dearth of skinny actresses...Despite Vidya's being healthy, her films do well...Heyy Babyy is a super hit worldwide, and Vidya's not being all skin and bones didn't stop the audience from watching the film.....She doesn't need to strip to stay put in Bollywood,so I don't see why she needs to be skinny....It's infact Shahid who needs to do something about his babyish looks, for he looks way too young for almost ALL the leading ladies
Besides,I dont quite think the "skinny" look suits well on everyone..Personally,I felt Aishwarya Rai looked REALLY pulchritudinous and mesmeric in Shabd ...On the contrary,I felt she looked sickly and anorexic in Dhoom 2...Shah Rukh Khan looked amazing in KBC ,but looked a bit gaunt and scraggy on KWK where he was sporting the Om Shanti Om Lookš¤¢..He looks plainly malnourished and shrunken..Six Pack/Washboard abs does not necessarily look good on all and sundry...Some men like Hrithik and John are naturally thin and lanky, the same physique wouldnt suit someone with a dissimilar body structure...
