Film #Manikarnika collected approx 5Cr on Monday! Which is really less for such a big film.

And he is the one of the bigger supporters of the film!

Film #Manikarnika is good and ppl are liking it. But too much negativity of #KanganaRanaut is killing it. Today somebody has released it online also. And I am sure that some of Bollywood ppl have only done it, who want to make her flop!

I have many thoughts and says for this movie.

PART 1


i begin with:

i don't know who hired Krish to direct this movie to begin with. And if that's not bad, the actor , who is supposed to be focused on her acting takes direction duties. EPIC FAIL!!!

And all parties involved in creating this mess, be it the director himself and Kangana, should take responsibility and own it up. Both yours egos, clash, almost destroyed this movie. What a loss!

The producer gave all. Imagine you building a house and the contractor keeps coming and says, i need more money, more money.
then you expect that the house he builds for you is one of a kind, the most beautiful, right?

same , the producer is willing to invest, but a director, actors, technicians, the WHOLE TEAM has to come together and make sure that the dream gets fulfilled, and better be a beautiful dream.

this movie had the potential to be one of the biggest movie ever to hit the screens, critically and commercially. Unfortunately what we get is an average to below average movie. i hate to say there were some scenes that made me cringe and felt like i was watching some 3rd grade movie.



The character actors in the movie, be it danny, ankita, suresh Oberoi, khulbhushan, the guy who played kangan's husband, mother inlaw, almost everyone...NO IMPACT, at least for me. All flop!

kanagana's husband, SORRY, don't smack me for saying this, poor in looks, no JOSH at all. The first half was moving at snail's pace and this raja with poor and boring act brings it further down. The first half was mostly about him and his rani, but borrringgg. The rani was so much joshilee and beautiful, deserves a better looking and joshwala raja.

Another, FLOP, i don't want to see ankita and her dance ever again!!!!!!!!!! i heard you coming from some TV drama , and if you doing good there, pls stay there. PLEASE I BEG YOU SWEET.

Imagine sitting thru some behooda song dance number. It really looked awful...and damn it really took me time to recover

Who ever directed that, either krish or kangana, sucked as a director.

Actually none of the songs were pictured well. At best average to bad!
the vfx...POOR. The battle scene goes on and on, and at places the quality, eek, shoddy.

the movie did have this grandeur feeling, but sorry, the sets and decorations pales in bhansali's dcor. at least bhansali does mesmerize you with the sets and he makes sure his cinematography does capture all well.

The one with Faridoon (almost one hour long) - even though one has to keep in mind the hurt and anger Krish might feel - isn't in Kangana's favour at all (as a director and a person...he praises her as actress).
