So John took only 5 crores as salary but will make a bundle as producer? it says it did 75 crores world wide and total budget is how much?

John Abraham celebrates the success of Parmanu, but where is Diana Penty?

Meanwhile, the team of Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, led by lead actor and one of the producers, John Abraham, celebrated the success at an event.

The duo were all smiles while answering media questions at the event. The film has crossed Rs 50-crore mark at the box office.

John Abraham celebrates the success of Parmanu, but where is Diana Penty?

After getting delayed for almost three to four times, John Abraham-starrer Parmanu finally hit the screens on May 25, 2018. The movie opened to mixed reviews and took a slow start at the box office. But, over the weekend the movie showed a very good jump. The film has collected more than Rs 50 crore at the box office and it is a hit.

The bash was attended by the film's director Abhishek Sharma, and other celebs like Anuja Sathe, Jaccky Bhagnani, etc. However, the lead actress of the film Diana Penty was missing from the bash and we wonder why.

John Abraham, who is also the producer of the film recently organised a bash to celebrate the success of the film.

Parmanu was based on the nuclear bomb test explosions that was conducted in 1998 by the Indian Army at Pokhran.

The film was in news for mostly all the wrong reasons. First the release dates were being changed and later the producers, John Abraham and KriArj Entertainment had a legal tussle over the film. But, John won the battle and then the film finally released.

And as we say all's well that ends well'.

He did said he made almost noting out of movie as actor, but it doesnt matter since the film is applauded!

27cr + 5cr =32 cr budget.

Thank you everyone for keeping updated!!! So happy its still growing despite new releases...

If only it could have made it in first weekend (overshadowed due to IPL semifinal and Final)...

Even he didnt know if film would be releasing, they had hardly 12 days when they won the legal tussle.

Nevertheless happy with the outcome!

Just watched parmanu...John doesn't have it in him to be s super amazing actor...nevertheless s...I totally loved this movie...n so so proud to watch the success story of pokhran nuclear tests...really sad that these movies don't get the blockbuster response that they so deserve
