I had to come here after binge-watching the show almost 8 years after it's first run because I've connected with so many people on this section of the forum about this show and how special the characters are to us.
I remember when YRF first launched their TV shows back in 2010 and I was in shock with the level of character development, story progression, parallels, cinematography and just the plain realism of these shows, but Rishta stuck with me the most.
Maybe that's why I loved BBB so much since it was such a similiar storyline that came a few years later and I could see how Rohan and Isha would have played out. But I just realized how much I missed these characters and how funny, smart and plain amazing the show was.
A little part of me wishes YRF would jsut make a season 2 and do a web-series like what Ekta Kapoor is doing since times on TV seem to be changing. I also think the audience in general has changed with more content-oreinted films faring better in the psat few years--I think this probably applies to TV as well. But mainly I want it back since it's so realistic and more applicably to me now tht I'm older. The 4 main leads were probably one the best things and I wish Rohan greeting Ruchika with a "Hello Aurat." 😆
Anyone else have fond memories of this?
