I had to come here after binge-watching the show almost 8 years after it's first run because I've connected with so many people on this section of the forum about this show and how special the characters are to us.

I remember when YRF first launched their TV shows back in 2010 and I was in shock with the level of character development, story progression, parallels, cinematography and just the plain realism of these shows, but Rishta stuck with me the most.

Maybe that's why I loved BBB so much since it was such a similiar storyline that came a few years later and I could see how Rohan and Isha would have played out. But I just realized how much I missed these characters and how funny, smart and plain amazing the show was.

A little part of me wishes YRF would jsut make a season 2 and do a web-series like what Ekta Kapoor is doing since times on TV seem to be changing. I also think the audience in general has changed with more content-oreinted films faring better in the psat few years--I think this probably applies to TV as well. But mainly I want it back since it's so realistic and more applicably to me now tht I'm older. The 4 main leads were probably one the best things and I wish Rohan greeting Ruchika with a "Hello Aurat." 😆

Anyone else have fond memories of this?

Rishta.com was extremely good. Other than the Ashish angle, I can't remember any character who was bad. I loved Rohan with the Dentist too even though I shipped Rohan Isha badly. Sadly, it wasn't popular at all, which is why the 11PM timing on Wednesdays. IDT they'd ever bring it back. Can only cherish the memories.

Tell me abt it! I've binge watched it SO many times. Even remember the dialogues by now :P
From wat I noe, S2 was on cards but was scrapped due to low TRP. Rishta.com was definitely ahead of its time as Indian audience was not ready for fresh content back then. A web series would be great! The characters hav a lot of potential plus Rohan n Isha's track was yet to be explored.

I hope there is a season 2 because overall the concept story and characters were amazing... Also Rohan and Isha's love story was a bit rushed it needs to be given more emphasis next season

A lot of times, shows don't stand the test of time because after a while, they seem outdated. But when you watch Rishta.com even today, it's utterly relatable. I was just watching it yesterday on netflix. The themes it brings up are relevant even today. Plus the 4 leads are awesome! I love their chemistry! I adore Rohan and his accent. Lol. Hussaifa is also hilarious! Basically, I would love for YRF to do a second season of this show. I truly think it can work in today's market. If YRF has any savvy business sense they would launch the 2nd season as a web series. But, let's see what happens. Maybe someone in the team of Rishta.com can approach YRF again for it.
