Could Anushka or Sonam have done Mastani better than Deepika?! - Page 4

After ADHM I feel Anushka would be a very beautiful looking queen 😳 But as it was shown in the movie, it was not about the beauty- Bajirao didn't fall for that. It was mainly about how much Mastani gave him a takkar!

My main problem with deepika was her bland dialogue delivery, even Ranveer had he lovey dovey dialogues but he was in character throughout. About the choices mentioned Bebo would actually be a very good Mastani, since her dialogue delivery is good but she would've flopped Deewani Mastani so bad and she she doesn't have DP's screen presence to show off that royal like aura. I wouldn't say anything about the action sequences of Bebo since even Ash surprised me with her sword sequences in JA when I didn't expect it to be. Sonam's dialogue delivery is more bad than DP's so she is out for me.

Ash or Anu would be the best choice but Anu is inconsistent so Ash would've been the best IMO 😳 But nobody could do those action sequences better than DP, so I want to choose half of Ash, & half of DP 😆

Anu looks like a duck... Sorry can't help it and sonam's dialogue delivery is horrible... I think kangana for a change could have worked... She actually looks good in Indian costume and who knows she might have worked hard on her diction and nailed it... But anyway i didn't care for mastani in the movie, kashibai was perfect ❤️

Why are we talking about seetis and taalis and stardom when it's about acting? Bhai too get a lot of seetis iska matlab yeh to nehi ke Bhai ko Mastani bana de. 😆 DP managed to get the seetis and taalis while RS and PC acquired all the awards and appreciation 😆

And Nagada Sang Dhol and Lovely also got seetis and taalis...so although the team is important, without the star they cannot do anything...and DP's screen presence and aptitude is what made those songs so great visually!

You need to see the forum when the BM casting was announced- nobody though PC could pull off a period look like Kashibai, due to her urban looks. When the first poster came out, the same was said that PC has too much of western look for this films.

I disagree completely- there were TWO big actresses in Pinga and yet it didn't work. While songs like DJ waale babu Aur zinghat from Sairat got the seetis & taalis despite having no bigs stars. Not taking anything from what a good job Deepika did at Deewani Mastani, I do not agree she was the only reason why it got seetis & taalis, it was the song which made it what it is and the Grand way with how SLB directed the entry of Deepika in the song. Take that out, and Deepika even with her screen presence wouldn't be able to do nothing. Nagada was again SLB, and Lovely was another Sheila & Chikni what else do you expect? Fevicol & mera naam mary got the seetis & taalis too, despite Bebo doing a shit job at it, because it's the songs what made them popular.

These stars can do NOTHING without a good song, its the other way stars cannot do anything without these songs. That is why these days even flop films with newcomers have popular songs! And that is why today big stars interfere to say what songs to take in the movie, and which will work.
