Could Anushka or Sonam have done Mastani better than Deepika?! - Page 7

No! Anushka is far from a beauty and doesn't have the grace/poise needed. And Sonam toh don't get me started, horrible actress and even worse dancer. Also zero grace and looks like a joker.

Deepika did well in the grace part and looked stunning but her performance was totally flat, she was so wooden in the film. It was like watching a Robot/ I think she was focussing so much on trying to be this graceful/ dignified princess that no attention was paid to the acting part. And the part was very poorly written...one dimensional and very sketchy. Easily SLB's worst written female character.
Always felt this from the start but after ADHM I am 100% sure that Ash would have been the best fit by far. Despite the underwritten, limited part in ADHM she made a stunning mark, she was sensational as Saba. So I think she would have salvaged this even though poorly written part of Mastani. Plus, she is an exceptional dancer.. would have killed it and done better.

I think actresses like Sonam or Katrina would have looked the part but acting... 🤣👎🏼 Katrina is a good dancer though. Sonam - no.

Anushka might look the part coz of her fair skin but her body language is more of a tomboy. She cannot get the nazakat required of a dancer. And Sonam neither looks the part nor can act or dance.

How good does Ileana dances?? She is a good actress and when properly groomed looks out of the world beautiful too.

Actually I feel even Rani mukherjee could pull it off it this was offered in her prime... she is a great dancer, has that nazakat, she acts well & she can look really stunning too if people work on her...

Of Course Ram Charan is a better dancer his cousin Allu Arjun is best dancer and his father Chiranjeevi is the bestest dancer of all. In Tollywood, most of the guys are super dancers. I gave the Example of Tamanna's dance to be compared with BW heroines, not \tollywood heros.
