Could Anushka or Sonam have done Mastani better than Deepika?!

😳 Deepika was nowhere to be seen this year.
What a shame. I can't help but think that SLB
should have used Anushka or Sonam instead.
Please share your thoughts. 😉

Anushka because she has fiery personality and her Urdu dictation is far more better. I personally have issue with her pairing with ranveer. It looks modern and too spent. They don't give that mad with passion vibe. Come to think of neither did DP and ranveer pairing had that vibe.

Sonam might not have been choice seeing how they are cousins. I think we need few more actress in this industry.

Anushka is a better actress but I am not sure if she's ethereal or enigmatic like Mastani. Deepika is gorgeous and she has that regal quality about herself. Anushka is more real, girl next door. Not sure if she'd be a better fit than DP.

Sonam , Anushka or Sonakshi would have good choices indeed. But I thinks it's a pity Aishwarya didn't get to do it as she's great in this kind of role .

I'm sorry but Deepika seemed dead in the movie . She was much much better in Tamasha.

NO WAY!

Mastani was all about BEAUTY! Her grace and dignified look, her chand jaise chehra and addayanen... She might not have been the best part of the movie but DEEPIKA was MASTANI!

Both two lack the charm - beauty(Anushka) and dance/grace (Sonam)

Sonam would have looked beautiful , but she would be terrible in the role. Way too modern and she's a terrible dancer. Really only Madhuri/Aish fit the bill but I think Kareena would have been a fantastic choice and could have sold the the heavy Urdu dialogues. She's also not a great dancer but it's not like Mohe Rang was done well anyways.
