Those who are questioning Yami's a acting capabilities should def watch Vicky Donor ..She was fab in both serious, emotional as well as romantic scenes ..She deserves chances to shine

Yami Gautam opens up about acting opposite Hrithik Roshan in 'Kaabil'

Actress Yami Gautam says she is both excited and nervous about working opposite superstar Hrithik Roshan in "Kaabil". The 27-year-old actress, who made her Bollywood debut in 2012 with "Vicky Donor," has been paired with the "Bang Bang" actor in Sanjay Gupta's next venture to be produced by Rakesh Roshan.

"I am very excited and feeling great to get such a huge opportunity. I am really lucky to have been paired with Hrithik. I am nervous to share screen space with him. I have never met him before but have always loved his work. He is one of the biggest stars and I am sure he will be amazing to work with. I am really looking forward to it and would like to learn from him," Yami told PTI.

Hrithik, 42, took to Twitter recently to confirm the casting and said he is looking forward to work on the project. Gupta, whose last outing was "Jazbaa", also tweeted about the same. Yami will be next seen in upcoming romantic film "Sanam Re", also starring Pulkit Samrat and Urvashi Rautela. Directed by Divya Khosla Kumar, the movie will hit theaters on February 12.

Rakesh Roshan confirms that Kaabil will release on January 26, 2017

Producer Rakesh Roshan has already booked a release date for his film Kaabil.Starring his son Hrithik and to be directed by Sanjay Gupta, the film will be shot and completed in a three-month stretch from April to June. However, the film will only release next year.

Explains Rakesh Roshan, "All the major release dates this year are already taken. So we've reserved January 26, 2017 as the release date for Kaabil.We are in no hurry to release our film."

About the unlikely merger of the Roshans with Sanjay Gupta, Rakesh says, "Sanjay narrated a story written by Vijay Mishra, which both Hrithik and I liked. It is something Hrithik hasn't done before. It is in the thriller genre. It's different and yet mainstream, somewhat like the films I direct, which are massy. Very different from whatever has been attempted so far in the genre."

Rakesh will be a hands-on producer. "So you can expect a film that has elements of both Sanjay Gupta's style and my style of filmmaking." Apart from Hrithik and leading lady Yami Gautam, the film also stars Ronit Roy, Sonu Sood and Girish Kulkarni.
