Box Office Clash : Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil VS Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho!

We recently had the official confirmation that the Hrithik Roshan starrer Kaabil will have Yami Gautam as the female lead. The film which is being helmed by Sanjay Gupta, will be commencing its shoot in April and it will be a start-to-end three month schedule.

Interestingly, while we thought the film would release this year itself, the makers have announced that it will hit the theaters next year. According to reports, producer Rakesh Roshan mentioned that this year, all the important dates have been already booked and hence the Republic day slot for next year has been sealed for Kaabil.

Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil To Clash With Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho?

The producer also gave out other details of the film such as the supporting cast which includes, Ronit Roy, Sonu Sood and Girish Kulkarni. Like every Rakesh Roshan film, the music will be composed by Rajesh Roshan.

Kaabil will be a thriller, a genre that Hrithik has not worked on so far.

Interestingly, we had least heard that Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho, which is being helmed by Milan Luthria is also set to release on Republic day next year. Will the two films head for a clash in 2017 or will it be averted is left to see!

Sasha Agha to be seen opposite Hrithik Roshan?

Sasha Agha was last seen in Desi Kattey' (2014) and thereafter she's only grabbed headlines because of her personal life. However, it seems since her separation from Sachin Guta, Agha is keen to get back into acting and news has it that she is in talks to star with Hrithik Roshan.

According to Stardust, Agha was offered Bigg Boss 9' for two crores but she declined to be part of the show because she was in conversation for a major Bollywood project. The project in question was one starring Roshan. Roshan is, of course, confirmed to star in Kaabil' post Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro'. However, Yami Gautam has also been said to be the leading lady of Kaabil', as tweeted by Roshan himself. It remains to be seen whether Agha might also be a part of Kaabil', perhaps not in a romantically linked role to Roshan.

Agha made her debut in the Arjun Kapoor starrer Aurangzeb' in 2013.

I think kaabil will be good and since it is not a huge budget film, a clash can also make the film a success .. I'm just happy that so many HR films are coming up ..

its a smaller film even with clash 125-130 is still possible given the WOM is good

I'm happy that he's finally doing a small film that doesn't pressurize him much .. I feel that this film might be good .. Only doubt is about Sanjay Gupta , hope he delivers a decent direction here ..

You won't believe who's playing the villain in Hrithik Roshan-Yami Gautam's Kaabil!

The film will be going head to head against Ajay Devgn's Baadshaho that releases on the same day (Republic Day week, 2017)

Hrithik Roshan might be recuperating from his leg injury but once he's up and raring to go, he will be wrapping up the unfinished work on Ashutosh Gowariker's long running period drama Mohenjo Daro. Post that, Duggu will quickly move on to shoot his next film under his dad Rakesh Roshan's banner- titled Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam, directed by Sanjay Gupta.

The entire story of Kaabil is out. It's yet another Badlapur like story where the actor avanges the death of his girlfriend who is raped and brutally murdered. So while Yami will disappear from the scene in the interval itself, Hrithik will become blind and it's this blind man's story of vendetta that will take the story ahead. Now in all this, we have learnt that Papa Roshan has finalised the villain for the film!

irony that Yami will once again play the dead wife/gf here ..

Bhai I hope music is good because it's needed to uplift the mood of a drama like this .. Both Gajhni and Badlapur had their music as USP ..

She also played the same role in Action Jackson too, this will be her third such role
