Keeping it fresh!

Every heroine, established or newbie, wants to work with the Khans " Aamir, Salman and Shah Rukh. And, while the trio has launched newcomers opposite them, they have also repeatedly co-starred with heroines with whom they share a good on-screen chemistry. But for a change, we would like to see these superstars opposite girls who have never been paired with them. After all, Bollywood is always looking for fresh pairs to liven up the on-screen romance.

SALMAN KHAN
Salman probably holds the record for launching the maximum number of new girls opposite him. Here, however, our picks are not newbies, but established heroines who haven't yet been paired with him.

This long-legged beauty was almost finalised for Shuddhi opposite Salman when Bajirao Mastani happened. Dippy preferred to be part of her Ram-Leela director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next rather than Karan Johar's film. It's a different thing that ultimately, even Salman opted out and Shuddhi is now being made with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. There was also speculation about Deepika being Salman's heroine in Sooraj Barjatya'sPrem Ratan Dhan Payo, but even that didn't happen. It's twice now that Dippy and DabanggKhan had almost been a pair. Now the hunt is on for a heroine to star opposite Salman in Sultan. Let's see if Deepika turns out third time lucky and is roped in for this YRF film. Salman and Deepika is a pair waiting to happen.

Anushka Sharma
Anushka has already acted with the other Khans " twice with Shah Rukh, first time in her debut film Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi and later in Jab Tak Hai Jaan. She teamed up with Aamir Khanfor the blockbuster PK. Bubbly and charming, Anushka will make a nice romantic pair with Salman. Wonder what is stopping the filmmakers from casting these two together?

Kangana Ranaut
While the Tanu Weds Manu Returns actress shares a mutual admiration society with Aamir Khan, it is with Salman that Kangana has a friendly equation. Both have a wacky sense of humour and are upfront, telling it like it is. She was even approached for Sultan, but Kangy refused because the dates were clashing withRangoon. Hope in the next film that Salman does, Kangana shares screen space with him. It should be one helluva quirky ride!

SHAH RUKH KHAN
He launched Deepika Padukone in Om Shanti Om and is now all set to act with Mahira Khan in Raees. Other than that, SRK has co-starred with some of his heroines repeatedly; be it Kajol, Anushka Sharma or Deepika. Here are a few fresh pairings...

Vidya Balan
That Vidya Balan is fascinated by SRK is no state secret. She has made no bones about the fact that she finds the Badshah charming. Though they have never been paired in a film together SRK did make a special appearance in a song sequence of Heyy Babyy that had Vidya in it. In fact, the actress has expressed her wish to work with SRK many times in the past. She would make an interesting pair with him in the kind of role that Kajol usually does opposite Shah Rukh. Hope filmmakers are listening.

Sonakshi Sinha
She is a heroine who fits into the masses' image of an Indian beauty and is the queen of masala films. He is the ultimate romantic hero. There's bound to be magic when coy Sona and debonair SRK come together. And, with him known to share a good onscreen chemistry with most of his heroines, this match should be a winner.

Sonam Kapoor
Now that she is doing a film with Salman Khan, it shouldn't be long before she is signed up for one opposite SRK. Lively and vivacious, Sonam will complement the suave and cool SRK very well. He has already acted with her father Anil in Trimurti, it's time he paired up with the daughter.

AAMIR KHAN
Yes, we know Aamir Khan does only one film a year, so it will be quite a wait for heroines who wish to star opposite him. Nevertheless, we suggest he pair up with one of these girls in his next outings.

Jacqueline Fernandez
The Kick actress and Aamir have already done a flirty watch commercial and from what we saw share a pretty good chemistry. If they star in a film together they are likely to scorch the screen. A suspense thriller or murder mystery perhaps.

Shraddha Kapoor
The Ek Villain actress is a self-confessed fan of Aamir. After Aashiqui 2' s success the actress is said to have waited for six months just to meet her favourite star. Getting the superstar and the dainty heroine to share screen space will be unique. A sweet romance like Autumn InNew York or Shall We Dance tweaked to suit Indian sensibilities?

Parineeti Chopra
Spontaneous and full of beans, Pari will make a refreshing pair with Aamir. He had even invited Parineeti on his TV show Satyamev Jayate. Though she has been acting with the younger lot of heroes, it will be good to see her pitted with the powerhouse performer. A khatta meetha romcom is what comes to mind with the two together.
