Kangana is the only one who had the hardest struggle... She is from an absolute non Bollywood family, no connection, no family support... Imagine an industry that is for Hindi movies but people are judged for speaking only Hindi... The girl has come far... Whatever her off screen personality be but she has achieved a lot...

While others too have survived and excelled due to their hardwork...
So saying Kareen Alia better than Dips or Ash is just comical...
Every actress has worked hard to survive in this cut throat industry...
In fact Kareena is one talented but lazy actress who actually gets films in a platter and doesn't have too struggle for it...

Absolutely no one was there for her.She gave many flops but learned from her mistakes You can actually make out the how much effort she has put in to make her perfomance better.Look at the transition from her first film to the latest one.And the thing which i admire most about priyanka is that she never did flower pot roles.Every character of hers was aa strong as the male character.

Plus, she got a dream debut in Hero and Andaaz, she also won FF best debutant. And was Miss World, so lots of fame and networking by the time she entered BW.

About flops. Every actress has gone through them. Vidya, Deepika, Kareena, Anushka. All had flops for a number of years. And all bounced back, not just PC.

OT,voted for Vidya.But I also agree with choices of Kangana & Preity.

Self made and handed on a platter star kids r different. Self made ones who came no matter from an acting school, modeling, beauty pagent had absolutely no connections to bollywood till they on their own merit either became a model as a teen, a beauty queen as a teen or attended an acting schhol and proved their talent. They didnt have a family or family friend who made a reccomendation to them to get their first modeling contract, etc..

second thing is if these outsiders had not given two or 3 consecutive hits and no flops for the 1st 2yrs or so they would have vanished.. its this sheer talent, grit and hard work these selfmade ladies had that brought them this long..

kareena gave so many flops in the beginning of her career..had Preity, Anushka, Priyanka or Vidya had faced that would have been finished!! I remember once how they introduced PZ in one of her old interviews.. the actress who did 10 films and didn't give any flops..
these outsiders can afford to have a flop only when they r already somewhat recognized with a few hits under their names..then they have made it..

Where's the great Sonam Kapoor?
She's truly self-made.She called Sanjay Leela Bhansali for role in Saawariya on her own.Infact she used her own family's money to make films for herself.my vote goes to her

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. She is a diva. The epitome of grace and self respect who made a significant mark both national and international wide on her own.

Kangana was a model as well.

She has featured in ads for brands like Ayur.

So to say Preity was well known and Kangana alone struggled is not exactly true.

Kangana has infact received attention too easily and too early.

She has received highest awards irrespective of whether she deserved them or not.

In terms of struggle, VB had it hardest and had more odds against her.

On basis of all round personality, PZ, PC, VB rank higher than Kangana.
