Star Plus’ show Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki to end

The Star Plus television show Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki is set to go off air soon. The show, produced by Sandalwood Media, premiered in December 2025 but will conclude after a short run of about 3 months.

The story of the show focused on Deepa, a strong and determined mother who faces the difficulties of a troubled marriage while trying to protect and support her daughter, Jyoti. Despite the emotional challenges in her life, Deepa continues to fight for her daughter’s happiness and future.

Deepa’s life begins to change when she meets Karthik, a character who brings new hope and the possibility of love. His presence offers a fresh perspective and emotional support during a difficult phase in her journey.

Ankit Raizada and Ashika Padukone played the lead roles in the show. Through its characters, the show aimed to tell a story of resilience, relationships, and emotional strength.

Low Ratings Lead To Early End Of The Show

Despite its emotional storyline and performances by the lead cast, the show did not manage to connect with viewers as expected. The ratings remained consistently low, ultimately influencing the channel’s decision about the series' future.

Due to the ratings decline, the makers and the channel decided to end the show earlier than planned. The series was filmed entirely in Hyderabad, where the production team and cast have been working since the show began.

Slot Change Before Final Episode

Reports earlier suggested that the show might go off air to make way for the upcoming Star Plus show Taara. The new show is produced by Magic Moments Motion Pictures and is scheduled to premiere on 10 March at 8 PM.

With the launch of Taara, there will be some changes in the programming schedule. The show Aarti Anjali Awasthi, which currently airs at 8 PM, will be shifted to the 7:30 PM slot. Meanwhile, Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki will move to a new time slot of 7 PM starting from 10 March. However, this schedule change will only be temporary.

It has now been confirmed that the show will end soon. The team working on the show in Hyderabad has already been informed about the closure. According to reports, the series will continue to air in the new 7 PM slot until it reaches its final episode, which is expected to air around 17 March.

Sources close to the production have also shared that the shoot for Shehzadi Hai Tu Dil Ki will wrap up in the coming days. Attempts were made to contact the channel spokesperson for an official comment, but no response has been received so far.
