Alia Bhatt’s Women’s Day surprise comes with scribbles, hearts and a sweet note from Ranbir and little Raha

Actor Alia Bhatt shared a personal moment from her home on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The actor took to Instagram Stories on Sunday, March 8, to post a photograph of a handmade card she received from her husband Ranbir Kapoor and their daughter Raha Kapoor. The simple gesture quickly caught the attention of fans online.

The card appeared to be crafted by little Raha using colourful pens and playful doodles. The folded sheet carried a message written in bright colours. One side of the card read, “To Mama,” accompanied by drawings of a heart and stars. The other side carried the line, “Happy Women’s Day From Papa & Raha,” along with musical notes and scribbles that gave the card a childlike charm.

Alia also shared a message alongside the photograph while reflecting on the meaning of the day. Her note focused on the importance of raising daughters with confidence and self awareness. She wrote, “A gentle reminder that perhaps the most beautiful thing we can teach our daughters is to know themselves, trust themselves, and celebrate who they are becoming ??.”

Alia and Ranbir welcomed their daughter Raha in November 2022. Since then, the couple has occasionally spoken about their life as parents during interviews and public appearances. At the same time, they have maintained a clear decision to keep their daughter’s face away from social media.

Despite their popularity, the actors have requested photographers and media outlets to respect their privacy when it comes to Raha. While they sometimes share moments connected to parenting, they avoid posting photographs that reveal their daughter’s face.

On the professional front, Alia Bhatt will soon share screen space with Ranbir Kapoor in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Love And War. The project also features Vicky Kaushal in a key role. Reports suggest that a major portion of the shooting schedule has already been completed.

The film is believed to be set against a wartime backdrop, with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal reportedly playing Indian Army officers. Alia is expected to portray a cabaret dancer in the narrative. The couple will also reunite on screen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra 2.
