@bold, I'm not sure what that means. That the other three have a more likable personalities? Probably. But what does that have to do with their struggles?

As to whether Kangana deserved her awards or not, well that's subjective. I don't necessarily think VB had it hardest. She might have struggled longest in terms of landing her first role. But she was able to pursue her higher education in the mean time and by all accounts had her family's support throughout her auditions and trials. Same with Preity. Kangana basically walked out on her family for a dream. Then there is the whole not being able to speak English or speak intelligently tag that was attached to her early on, first one being true.

True & I don't understand that b/c Kangana is probably the smartest heroism we have!! Her conversation is good, varied & quite philosophical. Same goes for Vidya. These are women you can actually see yourself being friends with IRL.

That is if we had the opportunity to befriend extremely famous actresses, LOL. 😆 😆

Don't think anybody is self-made. Yesteryear actresses didn't have it as easy as today's lot do - Alia, Shraddha, etc. - so it'll be unfair to each if we basket them otherwise.

Even the likes of Kajol, Karishma, and Kareena had it difficult despite being born within the fraternity. I'd call each self-made, some more, some less - but definitely incomparable to today.
