Personally, I've no favourite... I would recommend all of those I've watched (including the 'only' produced Pink):
Vicky Donor, Madras Café, Piku, Gulabo Sitabo, October, I Want To Talk, and Sardar Udham. Couldn't watch his debut movie yet (Yahaan).
great movie. beautifully written mintyblue.
I had watched October during the lockdown time and I loved it. That was definitely one of the best performances or I would say best performance of Varun in his career so far. He should do these kind of roles more than the cheap comedy ones in which he sucks.
For me, the movie was never about love. It was more about humanity and respect. Dan and Shiuli probably never loved each other. Dan visited her because he had kindness, humanity and compassion. Dan and Shiuli were more of formal colleagues but still he did things for her that no one else could. The ending maybe tragic for others but for me it was happy ending. Shiuli suffered a lot and her suffering ended with her death. Before leaving this world also she made Dan a better human. Loved how Dan realized it was her soul that visited him one last time when he got to know about her death.
I like Vicky Donor
Mine is Yahaan.....such a beautiful romantic movie!
