Anupamaa: Devika takes Anupama away while Parag refuses to face Pranshi

Tonight's episode of Anupamaa begins with Prem noticing Rahi looking anxious and asking her what is bothering her. Rahi shares her concern that if Prarthana fails to return home on time, Vasundhara will become upset. Prem responds by saying that Prarthana was clearly warned earlier. Both Anupama and Vasundhara had tried to stop her from leaving, yet she insisted on going despite their concerns.

Meanwhile, Gautam begins to question the situation and asks what will happen if Prarthana does not return as expected. He grows worried and says that if anything happens to his daughter, it will be unacceptable. Parag reminds everyone that he was the one who gave Prarthana and Pranshi permission to go. Gautam, however, becomes furious and tells Mahi that if his daughter faces any harm, he will hold the Kothari family responsible and will not spare them.

On the road, Anupama suddenly collapses. Prarthana notices her lying there and immediately decides to help. Ansh quickly tells Prarthana to take the baby first while he goes to check on Anupama. However, Pranshi refuses to leave Ansh’s side. Seeing the situation getting tense, Prarthana asks Ansh to stay with the baby while she herself goes to assist Anupama. Just then, a speeding truck rushes toward them. Prarthana pushes Anupama away to save her life but unfortunately gets struck by the truck in the process. Ansh and Anupama scream out in shock as Prarthana falls after the accident.

Back at home, Vasundhara suddenly feels uneasy when Prarthana’s photo frame unexpectedly breaks. The Kothari and Shah families begin trying to contact Ansh, Anupama, and Prarthana, but no one answers their calls. Vasundhara grows increasingly restless and regrets that she had tried to stop Prarthana from leaving earlier. A short while later, Anupama arrives home carrying Pranshi in her arms, looking completely shattered. She stands silently, unable to speak.

Everyone immediately gathers around her and starts asking where Ansh and Prarthana are. Gautam angrily questions Anupama and asks what trouble she has caused this time. Vasundhara also demands answers and repeatedly asks Anupama to say something about Prarthana. However, Anupama remains frozen in shock as memories of Prarthana risking her life to save her flash through her mind. Prem desperately asks Anupama to tell them that everything is alright. Unable to handle the pressure and grief, Anupama suddenly collapses unconscious on the floor.

After a few days pass, the Shah family is still struggling to cope with the tragedy. Leela says that even after so many days, she cannot erase Prarthana’s memory from her mind. Hasmuk tries to comfort her and says that what is written in destiny cannot be changed. Leela then shares another concern, saying that the Kotharis have taken Pranshi away from Ansh.

Paritosh comments that although the incident was clearly an accident, the Kotharis are blaming both Anupama and Ansh for what happened. Pakhi adds that Anupama is completely overwhelmed with guilt because of Prarthana’s death. The Shah family worries that the Kotharis may once again accuse Anupama, just like they have done before. Kinjal prays that both Anupama and Ansh find the strength to deal with this painful phase.

Elsewhere, Anupama and Ansh talk about Prarthana and struggle to accept her loss. At the Kothari house, everyone is mourning her death. Vasundhara says she had tried to stop Prarthana from leaving that day. Khyati becomes worried after seeing Parag’s condition.

Rahi gently asks Parag to eat something, but he refuses. He keeps wondering how Prarthana could leave them like this. Vasundhara attempts to calm him down, but Parag blames himself for the tragedy. He says that while both Vasundhara and Anupama tried to stop Prarthana, he was the one who allowed her to go. Anil tries to console Parag by saying that sometimes things happen because it is part of God’s plan and no one can control it. Rahi also explains that it was simply an accident and neither Anupama nor Parag should be blamed. Later, Rahi asks Prem how they will manage both Parag and Anupama, as both are deeply affected by the incident.

At the Shah house, Leela thanks Devika for coming to visit them during this difficult time. Devika admits that she knows Anupama very well and believes Anupama will struggle to overcome the guilt of Prarthana’s death. Hasmuk agrees and says that is exactly why they requested Devika to come. He asks Devika to take Anupama away with her for some time so she can recover emotionally. Hasmuk assures her that the family will take care of Ansh in Anupama’s absence. Devika promises that she will support Anupama.

Devika then goes to meet Anupama and calls out to her. Seeing her close friend, Anupama breaks down in tears and begins blaming herself for Prarthana’s death. She says she feels like a terrible person. Devika tries to comfort her and tells her not to hold herself responsible for what happened.

Anupama says she keeps remembering how Vasundhara was trying to stop Prarthana that day. She regrets that she did not try harder to prevent her from leaving. Devika consoles her and then shares a request. She explains that she has to travel abroad for a project and cannot take Jaya with her. Devika asks Anupama if she can help by taking care of Jaya during this time. She reminds Anupama that she has always supported her whenever she needed help and hopes Anupama will stand by her now.

Anupama initially refuses, saying she cannot leave Ansh alone at such a time. Devika tries to convince her by saying that Jaya is still young and needs someone to look after her, while Ansh is old enough to manage himself. Hasmuk and Leela also encourage Anupama to go and promise that they will take care of Ansh. Devika secretly feels that it is important for Anupama to step away from Ahmedabad for a while so she can heal from the trauma. She emotionally persuades Anupama until she agrees.

Anupama then goes to speak with Ansh about the decision. Ansh supports her and tells her that she should go because Jaya needs her help. He also reassures her that she should not blame herself for Prarthana’s death because it was simply an unfortunate accident. Finally, Anupama leaves with Devika.

At the Kothari house, Rahi tries her best to calm little Pranshi. The entire family continues to mourn Prarthana’s death. Gautam attempts to feed Vasundhara, who is also deeply affected. Parag refuses to even look at Pranshi, unable to deal with his emotions. Khyati breaks down in tears as the grief becomes overwhelming. Meanwhile, Rahi and Prem step forward to take care of Pranshi.

In the precap, in Goa, Anupama is seen participating in a cycle race, while Jaya enthusiastically cheers for her from the sidelines.
