Main Tera Hero Has A Decent 1st Monday At The Box Office

Main Tera Hero held up well on its 1st Monday at the Domestic Box Office. The film had a good weekend but the Monday collections were expected to rise after the conclusion of the T20 World Cup. And that really helped it seems, as the film managed to rake in approx 4 crores on Monday, as per early estimates.

Main Tera Hero now stands with a collection of 25 crores at the domestic box office, which is good. The film starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana DCruz and Nargis Fakhri in lead roles is a typical David Dhawan entertainer and has been gaining a positive word of mouth.

Due to a young star cast and an amazing comic timing, it received a decent footfall even on the weekdays. The film is expected to pick up over the week considering the other release Jal did not receive as much responses. If the film continues to put up decent collections over the week, it could definitely be crossing an approx total of 35 crores at the box office.

4th Day Monday Box Office Collection Of MAIN TERA HERO

Film has collected 26.83 cr nett in 4 days and now partial holiday today die to Ram Navami will further boost the film. Overall film looks to score 36 cr nett week one and that is excellent for a newcomer like Varun Dhawan.

MAIN TERA HERO Had Strong Monday

''Main Tera Hero'' was below average on day one as film was hit by big cricket match. Film was expected to grow on 2nd day and film just did that. Film had growth almost across the table and then despite cricket match, film scored big Sunday. Now with strong steady Monday, film is heading towards good run at box office.

Film collected around 6.60 nett on day one from 2200 screens which was good but not great considering the match effect. Film grew by 20% on day two and collected 8.03 cr nett. Film further added 8.10 cr nett on Sunday which was again slim growth over Saturday despite world cup final. Film dropped by just 33% and collected 4.20 cr nett on Monday.

Film has collected 26.93 cr nett in 4 days and now partial holiday today due to Ram Navami will further boost the film. Overall film looks to score 36 cr nett week one and that is excellent for a newcomer like Varun Dhawan.

Totally BLOWN away 🤪

Absolutely loved MTH <3

Was always a Varun fan in SOTY and now I love him even MORE ...

The film was truly Varun's...his perfect acting, comedy timings, expressions, dance and dialogue delivery absolutely Fantastic 👏

I liked Ileana too, can't say anything about the other one 😆

But I personally liked 'SUNAINUU' 😆

I don't support any particular party or person in that sense but there are couple of politicians that I think are good. When they speak I feel good, like everytime I would hear Shashi Tharoor speak at a podium it feels great. Having said that there is no such political party that I would want to endorse.

Music. I listen to different songs. Swedish House Mafia is my favourite.

As of now every character I play is a dream role for me. Seenu's character in Main Tera Hero was a dream character for me. Humpty's character in my forthcoming film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya is amazing. People will relate to my characters or atleast they will feel they have encountered someone like my character.

I had fun working with all three of my co-stars. Alia Bhatt, Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri, all three are very dear to me and they have been great co-stars. It's difficult to choose one but I had the maximum fun with Nargis.

I think more than my solo hit, I'm very happy for everyone involved in this film. Ekta Kapoor, my father David Dhawan, all the AD's who have worked so hard for the film which has paid off. It's a team effort and I can't take the credit by myself.
