I first thought of doing a longish comment on another thread, but decided against it because very few would then see it.
You are absolutely correct about the rest; it is a boutique creation for intelligent viewers, and they will not bother about the TRPs, which will in any case be there because of Amitabh. Plus, the whole set of episodes has already been shot, so we are going to have a coherent, fixed narrative that will not be tweaked for TRPs.
So one need not worry about ups and downs, and can simply sit ourselves down for an hours for 4 days a week and enjoy something that makes one activate one's grey cells, instead of putting them into the deep freeze!

shyamala, first of all delighted to see your analysis and that also a positive one! will write more later but i loved the first episode, although as u said it is very demanding to watch, one dialogue miss one misses the whole sequence and also this show is not for the masses therefore trps will be subtle just like the show!
