What nonsense, my poppet! You are talking thru your hat, except that you have no hat.😉

Yudh
is going to have only about 32 one hour episodes and they have all been shot. There is no nari shakti involved, get it? As of now, it seems to be about 80% Amitabh Bachchan.

It is a very complex, dense and morally ambiguous screenplay, and the scripting, direction - by Anurag Kashyap for the series - editing and acting are all excellent. Only, you have to pay very close attention to the onscreen goings on and to the lines, or else you will miss key points.

We are lucky to get such an offering at least for 2 months, so don't you dare miss it! At least you need not lament over things and curse the CVs. There are no CVs here, and at 32 episodes of 43 minutes each, Yudh will be the length of about 10 average films, but it is all done, just like Yashraj's Powder had 26 one hour episodes in 2010.

I am sure there will be an omnibus for 4 hours over the weekend, so you can catch up. I have dropped Jodha Akbar for now, and am plannning to do daily posts for all the 32 episodes. Come on, there is my good girl! We are going to have fun, and be stimulated into the bargain!

Yes, and I have watched the Mahabharata from the first episode and have not missed even one. I will catch up with JA over the weekend, but I am not going to do any episode analyses for JA while Yudh is on.

Are you sure that like JA this show will not begin with a bang and then get diluted and fall into naari shakthi lot.

I don't have it in me to sit through another show and then weep disappointed. 😕😭

As such I am also watching Mahabharat since war. 😃

I haven't read your post yet. Will comment on it after I summon courage and get to see the episodes. 😳

My dear,

I never abandoned the IF, only the IF Jodha Akbar forum, and that too for standalone posts. I still used to comment on other people's threads, and I was always in demand for commenting on FFs in my earlier forums. Now in the Yudh forum, I plan to do daily posts for all the 32 odd episodes over the next 2 months.

Do take a look at my response to Sandhya above, and join the gang here! I am delighted that you have turned up here. My next one is called Dark Chocolate!

Hello Shyamala Aunty...🤗

Great to see your stand alone post on IF 🥳

But frankly, could not make head or tail of your post, as I need to watch the episodes before I can comment anything...🤣

So I shall watch, n then comment...😆

But welcome back to IF anyways...🤗

Aunty...I missed all episodes of Yudh... will watch them all over the weekend and come back to post my replies here.
I will not miss Amitabh on TV for anything😛
And i agree, he really enjoys ..it is so obvious. Will his wife be ever convinced that he actually loved her when he said so...he could only be acting😆

You, Minnie, are one wicked child; I was in splits over your last line😉. In fact, like most great actors, I think Amitabh Bachchan only loves himself!

My post on episode 4, which was a humdinger, will be up only tomorrow, so maybe you can read the posts for Episodes 2,3 & 4 at one go after you have watched the episodes online.

Yudh will be there only for 16 episodes more, or 4 weeks, and then I am sure to have withdrawal symptoms! It has, in any case, rescued me from the shipwreck of Jodha Akbar, where I was surprised that in last night's precap,. Jalaluddin Muhammad Akbar did not do a shashtaang namaskaar to his Jodha Begum right there in court. Nothing can salvage that series after the debacle of this last track. I was shellshocked to see the Veeru in Sholay ripoff, which was very badly conceived and even worse enacted. I could not understand WHAT Rajat was doing hamming it up in such a frightful manner. Oh God!! I am well out of that one, that is for sure, no matter if Yudh departs all too soon!

Thank you, my dear, and what a nice, breezy id you have!

My post for Episode 4, which was a humdinger, will be up only tomorrow, and I am sure you can catch up with all the backlog online by Sunday, even if you watch each twice, which seems to me to be mandatory!

It will be great fun, the only pity being that there are to be only 16 episodes more, alas!
