Yudh is going to have only about 32 one hour episodes and they have all been shot. There is no nari shakti involved, get it? As of now, it seems to be about 80% Amitabh Bachchan.
It is a very complex, dense and morally ambiguous screenplay, and the scripting, direction - by Anurag Kashyap for the series - editing and acting are all excellent. Only, you have to pay very close attention to the onscreen goings on and to the lines, or else you will miss key points.
We are lucky to get such an offering at least for 2 months, so don't you dare miss it! At least you need not lament over things and curse the CVs. There are no CVs here, and at 32 episodes of 43 minutes each, Yudh will be the length of about 10 average films, but it is all done, just like Yashraj's Powder had 26 one hour episodes in 2010.
I am sure there will be an omnibus for 4 hours over the weekend, so you can catch up. I have dropped Jodha Akbar for now, and am plannning to do daily posts for all the 32 episodes. Come on, there is my good girl! We are going to have fun, and be stimulated into the bargain!
Yes, and I have watched the Mahabharata from the first episode and have not missed even one. I will catch up with JA over the weekend, but I am not going to do any episode analyses for JA while Yudh is on.

Are you sure that like JA this show will not begin with a bang and then get diluted and fall into naari shakthi lot.I don't have it in me to sit through another show and then weep disappointed. 😕😭As such I am also watching Mahabharat since war. 😃I haven't read your post yet. Will comment on it after I summon courage and get to see the episodes. 😳
